Was brought a blueberry muffin and a slice of chocolate peanut butter pie. There were 2 blueberry in my flavorless muffin and the pie was also somehow bland. Peanut butter was the only flavor coming through.

I thought my chicken wrap was super fresh and tasty. I appreciated that the cole slaw was fresh and crunchy and not saturated with mayonnaise. If you’re a cole slaw lover, this is a great one! Atmosphere is fine, place is clean, and I would come back. The main issue is portion size. I’m a light eater, so the chicken wrap was fine for me, but for my husband and son, it left them wanting more.
Edit: the owner’s response was to tell me that the reason ( excuse) for the small portion, and why they are not concerned about it, was because we altered our meals to make them something not offered on the menu. For clarification, I changed my sandwich to a wrap, and my husband and son changed their wraps to sandwiches. Talk about upsetting the apple crate!

Our first experience with the Baker’s Box was great but they are about 25 min drive so we hadn’t gotten back. We went online to look at the menu and was going to call in an order when I noticed on their website it said half off your first order if you download the app. So I downloaded the app and gave them all my info. I ordered two club sandwiches with fries. I drove all the way over and they handed me a bag with one sandwich. When I asked about the other sandwich she said they only got an order for one. I said you charged me for two at the half off. She said we aren’t doing half off any more. I said well your website said you were that is why I downloaded the app. She says “oh well I don’t know”. She couldn’t have cared less. I asked to speak to the manager she laughed and said I am the manager. I said well aren’t you pleasant. I called my son to see if he still wanted another sandwich so I ordered it and informed her that I would let people know that they aren’t honoring the promo clearly on their website. Again she laughed about it and turned around and started making smart remarks to the other employee. My son asked me to get her name when she gave me the second sandwich and as I read her first name Ana from her shirt to my son who was still on the phone she says it is Mariana with a smart attitude (well maybe put that on your shirt then if you want people to have your full name). Their attitudes there suck. She even stood there and told the owner and he walked away and didn’t care either. Got home hoping the food was at least as good as the first time and it was ok but not worth driving 25 minutes for. Both clubs were very dry as they put hardly any of their sauce on them and I expected the fries to be cold but also expected them to be fully cooked which they were not. Won’t go back again and will advise anyone downloading the app not to expect them to honor what they are promoting. The other time I went the place was packed. This time I went at dinner time on a Saturday night and it was virtually empty both inside and on the patio. After reading some of the reviews on here about the pattern of rude behavior I can see why.

Mara @ The Baker's Box helped bring our dreams to reality for our wedding cake. From the tasting all the way to final decorations and presentation, Mara knocked it out of the park!
We ultimately decided to have a chocolate cake with raspberry filling that melted in our mouths with every single bite! She decorated our cake to reflect the Blue Ridge Mountains where my husband proposed and the moment we laid eyes on our cake it immediately took us back to our special moment, surrounded by nature and fully committed to each other's love..
We cannot recommend Mara enough and hope to encourage any one even if just to stop by and take a pastry home (which we do quite often!). You will not be disappointed!

Visited May 17, 2025. The atmosphere is great. I ate outside with my friend. Its dog friendly. But the item I ordered, the Vader was not good. The chicken was huge, tuff, rubbery and not even a small bite could I chew. I feel if they were to cut the chicken in small pieces or lessen the amount it may work. I will visit again but I will get something else. The bread with toppings was all I had and their delicious fries. I should have told management but I didn't want to take away from spending time with my friend.

Great veggie burger, I think it is made in house! I could tell the bun and fries were made fresh for sure. Awesome atmosphere. Somewhere any nerd would be happy to visit

A friend and I stopped in to the Bakers Box for the first time today. I had a salad and my friend had a Gyro. I have to say the food was so fresh and delicious! We both really enjoyed our late lunch. I might also add that the outdoor seating was just delightful.I will definitely be returning to lunch there again!

Unfortunately two of my family members hamburgers were concerningly raw like extremely undercooked….. the color comparison between me and my brother was a lot, his was brown mine was veryyyyy pink. They were happy to remake it and that was very nice of them and friendly, however raw food is dangerous especially for $17. Very cool LEGO collection though lol

Raw food is nothing to mess around with, food poisoning is no joke especially because the two family members who got raw food ate half the hamburger before noticing. It wasn’t a little pink or just slightly undercooked, it was verrrrrryyyyy raw. On top of that two of us ordered bacon burgers, they both arrived with no bacon, when we asked for the bacon they arrived so beyond burned they were practically dissolving (completely black) out of 7 people, we had 2 Raw hamburgers and 2 messed up orders…. After telling the employees as nice as we can about this they fixed it but lord they were staring us down the whole time with crossed arms like it’s our fault for getting raw hamburgers and bacon less bacon burgers…

Fast forward to today and it was a totally opposite experience. I went to their website to see their menu and call in an order and noticed it say 50 percent off first order if you download the app. So I did and ordered two of their turkey club sandwiches with fries. I get there and they hand me one so I said it is supposed to be two. She said no it sent over one and you paid for one. I said I paid $17 with the tip because it is supposed to be half off for first order with the app. She said we don’t do that any more. I said but it is on your website it is the only reason I downloaded the app and gave you all my info. She said “oh well” with a smart attitude. So I called my son to see if he still wanted his other sandwich and ordered and told her I would let people know my experience and not to download the app thinking they were getting half off their first order. She laughed and said ok and then proceeded to turn around and make rude comments to the other employee. The food was not as good as the first time average at best and not worth the drive or price. But the attitude was horrible and in reading a lot of Google reviews it seems to be the norm. I would rather have a good attitude and average food than subpar food and crap attitude.
