I had the best time celebrating my birthday here today! The tea was delicious and the longmire sandwich was amazing. Don’t even get me started on the desserts and scones! Staff was so sweet and attentive, and the atmosphere was just perfect.
Food and atmosphere were great! Sever was rude and pressured me to tell her how much I wanted to tip her to her face , I asked her if I could choose without her looking and she didn’t let me. Besides that it was great!

As I have travelled the world amongst my many years and experienced cuisines of the highest quality.
The Book and The Bee Café and Tea tops them all, I have the Reuben and it had me Stud Stud Studdarding after the first bite.
I couldn't believe that a tiny little shop could produce such worldly food.
If your hesitant about coming here.. Don't be. There's a reason they have almost 5 stars.
The Staff was above reproach and catered to my very specific requests.
Highly recommend! 10/10 Don't be a goober and get your booty over here.

Had afternoon tea today and we were very disappointed. Have had really nice lunches here but afternoon tea was lacking. Food didn’t appear fresh, the scone was rock hard and telling the waitress we weren’t happy did not seem to matter to management.
I’ve visited many tea rooms in various states and this one is one on the top of my list for quaintness - delicious food - excellent service. Been here 3 times and coming in again Friday. Each time I’ve come, I always bring a friend that has never been as a special treat for them to have a delightful experience as well. Linda R
Loved it! Amazing
Just love this place. We come from Weaverville and the ride down I-26 is not always pleasant but all is forgotten once we enter The Book and Bee. We were there twice and in between tried two other places but none are as perfect as The Book and Bee. Looking forward to our next visit!
Loved the decor of each room! And the names of the items on the menu were book themed 😍😍😍
