10/10 experience whether it’s for afternoon tea or a simple brunch and cream tea with friends/family! I love coming to The Book & Bee Cafe and Tea. Each themed room and bookish details are a book lovers dream! I have even purchased a few handmade cards and tea samples. I sent a few of the tea samples to my friend/penpal in England, she loved them! The variety of tea and the rotating tea of the week ensures that there is something for everyone to enjoy. The atmosphere is so cozy and welcoming and the food is delicious! The staff are amazing and will give you the run down of all things tea related if you’re new to the experience. See a few pictures in the comments, I have taken many! So many memories 💜

From the moment you walk up the steps of The Book and the Bee you are in for a treat. The cafe is exquisitely decorated with literary works blended in with beautiful tea pots and tea cups. Gorgeous wallpaper that has a theme for each individual room. The menu is awesome! From the teas to the desserts everything was delicious! Every item is either a book title or the author of a classic book. I thoroughly enjoyed my birthday surprise.

The pot roast is delicious, and so was the tea. The atmosphere is adorable and you feel very cozy being there!

Such a gem! We stopped in not knowing what to expect and were delightfully surprised by not only the friendlies of the staff, but also the high quality of the food with its adorable literary themes, the magical decor and the amazing tea! We definitely plan on coming back.

Met a friend for tea and lunch. Our waitress, Jade, was incredibly patient, and accommodating to us. I was nervous about visiting with a baby, but everyone was so kind. There is a changing table in the restroom (super clean), and our hostess brought us a high chair. I ordered the Bangers and Mash, and thought it was fantastic. Excellent food, tea, and service. Will definitely return to try other specials!

Kid-friendliness: High chairs available. There is a changing table in the restroom.

Everything is sooooo delicious. The lobster bisque, the mushroom and Brie, and cheddar cauliflower soups...literally may be the best thing I've ever put in my mouth. Their meatloaf is so tasty. The shepherds pie-chefs kiss. My favorite sandwich is the mad hatter, not a better sandwich in Hendersonville. The salads are PERFECT. My friends and family are obsessed and we all go a couple times a wk:) the staff couldn't be kinder. The decor is so neat. Everything is so clean and fresh. Fresh cut flowers on each table to greet you. Great place to meet up and catch up with good friends:) oh-chocolate, carrot and lava cakes are mouth watering. I cannot say enough about this experience wonderful place:)

Kid-friendliness: Lots of parents with kids:) mine love it.

What a cute restaurant! Love the book theme and it is decorated very tastefully. There is a nice variety of menu items to choose from. We were happily surprised to see some heavier options that would satisfy even a hungry man’s appetite. There were a number of men in the restaurant the day we were there. Prices seemed reasonable and the food was very good. We also enjoyed a perfectly brewed pot of tea with our meal. The service was spot on from the hostess to our waitress…very friendly and professional. Also, it was very clean and bright. We can’t wait to go back. Highly recommend. If you haven’t been…GO! You won’t be disappointed.

Nice restaurant. Friendly staff and good food. However, there are way too many disclaimers on their website. It is very intimidating

I drove a ways to visit this cafe thinking I could purchase a book and have some tea. Sadly, there were no books! I left disappointed and didn't try the tea.
