The Book and Bee Cafe and Tea

Just love this place. We come from Weaverville and the ride down I-26 is not always pleasant but all is forgotten once we enter The Book and Bee. We were there twice and in between tried two other places but none are as perfect as The Book and Bee. Looking forward to our next visit!

The Book and Bee Cafe was fabulous. I took my mom for Afternoon Tea and we had the best time. The food was great, the service was outstanding and the atmosphere was perfection.

I took my mom here to afternoon tea for her birthday. We had the best time. The tea selection was great, the food was delicious, the service was outstanding and the place was so quaint and perfect. We had the best time.

Not one healthy thing on the menu. Loaded with animal products. This is why America is obese and with so much disease. And why our planet is in trouble.You can at least offer plant-based goodness for those who are interested in well health and global warming issues.

I wouldn’t recommend visiting this place close to their posted closing time. (One hour before) We were hoping for a relaxing experience, but it was anything but. Staff and others were rushing around, and the atmosphere felt tense and unwelcoming. No one greeted us with a smile or made us feel like we were supposed to be there. It completely missed the mark on hospitality and left us feeling uncomfortable. Definitely not the peaceful visit we were expecting.

I took my mother there the week after Mother’s Day and we had a fabulous time! It’s a quaint place….bigger than what I was expecting, with cute little rooms with different themes. The food was fresh and fabulous! We had a high tea reseevation, but many people came in for lunch! Every plate that was brought in looked delicious.

10/10 experience whether it’s for afternoon tea or a simple brunch and cream tea with friends/family! I love coming to The Book & Bee Cafe and Tea. Each themed room and bookish details are a book lovers dream! I have even purchased a few handmade cards and tea samples. I sent a few of the tea samples to my friend/penpal in England, she loved them! The variety of tea and the rotating tea of the week ensures that there is something for everyone to enjoy. The atmosphere is so cozy and welcoming and the food is delicious! The staff are amazing and will give you the run down of all things tea related if you’re new to the experience. We had a lovely little visit with my family. The food, tea, and atmosphere were all wonderful! We will definitely be back.

Beautiful atmosphere and awesome food!

Had Afternoon Tea today and it was absolutely wonderful. The venue is beautifully decorated with plenty of small touches that really make it feel special.The service was top notch. Our server Michelle was so sweet and very efficient. The tea was delicious and stayed hot throughout our dining experience due to the adorable warmers on the table. The tiers of food were very scrumptious and ample. Everything tasted fresh and amazing. We left feel very full and satisfied. The price for all that you get for an afternoon tea experience couldn't be beat, very affordable. I highly recommend treating yourself to an afternoon at the Book and Bee!

I was surprised with a wonderful out date of high tea. The atmosphere is wonderful and very charming. The staff are friendly and accommodating. The food was delicious and most importantly the tea was delightful. It was such a lovely outing and experience. We will definitely be back!
