Went with a large group of ladies and can't wait to go back. I got a salad and it was absolutely delicious and the tea is worth writing home about. Highly recommend to anyone that likes tea or hot coffee.

The Tuesday special, Shepherds Pie was very disappointing. Way too much mashed potatoes and very dry minced beef. We lived in England for years. This was the worst ever. So sorry. We’ll try something else next time.

My favorite tea house. I’ve been once with my husband and once with my Mom. I want to have tea in all the themed rooms. Tbh you can’t pick a bad pot of tea because they taste so delicious and you can dress them up. I get the cream tea for a little extra instead of just a pot.I’ve had the chicken salad on croissant both times I’ve been and it’s filling. Next visit I’m getting a dessert cake though. Highly recommend to locals and out of town people to give it a try. You’ll love it!

We LOVE the book and bee! Several years ago we used to go to a place called Blackberry Mountain Cafe that we loved too. The book and bee reminds us of that restaurant and serves a lot of the same dishes. My favorite is Gandolf's grilled cheese on sunflower bread. The sandwich is toasted and served with tomato on the sandwich too. The hardest part is deciding which soup to have with it. The day I was there it was: acorn squash, mushroom brie, or loaded potato. I chose the loaded potato and it was excellent! Their desserts and flavors of tea are wonderful too. I hope they stay around for many years to come. The names of the dishes and teas are so interesting and spot on!Parking: There is additional parking in the back as well as handicap parking and accessible parking.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair parking & accessibility is in the back.

W were there in October last year. It is a darling little place. I believe there are 3 rooms and all are decorated with a tea theme. There's a Christmas tree with tea cups and pots. Everyone gets their own beautiful bone chine cup and a cute little tea pot with a warmer under so your tea is always perfect temperature. My friend had the Poppins tea and if I remember correctly, the meatloaf sandwich. I had the Sherlock which is similar to earl grey. W both loved the tea and have purchased more since then. We live in western pa, but I'd go back in a heartbeat! We also had the sweetest lady who was a frequent customer at the table beside us. She was a wealth of info! She donated many of the tea cups & pots ! Say hi to Helene if you're lucky enough to meet her!

It was a little noisy at lunch time but the food was so worth it! Go with people who don't need words from you.

Very fun place for a relaxing lunch or brunch! I'm not usually a Tea Room person but enjoyed the experience. They did a nice job with their literary theme. The food was very good. They are kid-friendly and my 10 and 12 year-old daughters enjoyed the visit as well.

This has been one of my favorite restaurants...good food, great atmosphere, and wonderful tea. The place is small and usually pretty busy, so I understand their policy of not putting your name in for seating until everyone in your party arrives. However, that goes both ways. Apparently there is a 90 minute limit at your table, which again, isn't a problem. Today my friend and I arrived at 11:25 and while the parking lot was mostly empty we had to wait 15 minutes for a table. Service was very slow and we had to wait for about 15 minutes for the tea and it came just a few minutes before our food arrived. When we finished eating we had only been sitting for about 30 minutes at our table and we were chatting and finishing our tea. The owner (or manager) came to our table and told us that they were going to seat a large party and that they needed our table to join with the empty table next to us so we were supposed to leave. We continued drinking our tea while this crowd stood around our table and watched us. By the time we left we had been there a total of 45 minutes, including the time we waited for a table. My friend was visiting from out of town and was made to feel extremely uncomfortable and it was embarrassing since I had recommended it highly and she drove an hour to meet me there. I will never return. There are so many great places to eat in this area, NOTHING about this place is worth being asked to leave after 30 minutes because they want to push you out to make more money. DON'T BOTHER.

Enjoyed a pot of The Hobbit with a few lumps of brown sugar. The quiche was delicious and filling and the side of seasonal fruit was perfect in terms of color, ripeness, and taste. The white chocolate and blueberry crumble cheesecake is great way to round off the meal. It sweet, light and if you’re not full with your meal; this will fill you up.The ambiance is fantastical and whimsy. A create place to shoot adorable tea outfits and photos.

Absolutely wonderful food and many options of tea. This feels like it came straight out of London... Stafford incredibly nice and very helpful... The ambience is set with different themes for different rooms. I really love this place... The bangers and mash are awesome.

Had a lovely brunch here. The setting is fantastical and whimsy. Very Instagram worthy with a cute outfit. It sweet, light and if you're not full with your meal; this will fill you up. The service was quick and responsive to diners needs. Pricing is decent given the location and whimsy of the place. I over indulged myself and spent less than $35 tea, another pot of tea, an entree and dessert. My price also included a tip.

My friend and I just left this restaurant after the worst lunch I have ever had. She ordered Shepherd's pie which was inedible. I ordered quiche and fruit salad. The quiche was incredibly salty and the fruit salad consisted of a dish of grapes with two strawberries. When I complained to the server, she made no offer of replacing any of the food or a reduction in the bill. A very bad experience!
