Stopped by on a Friday for a relaxing evening. The kitchen was not open and they weren’t serving food. There is no service, you go to the bar to order drinks. The atmosphere was more along the lines of a downtown Asheville dive bar. The music was loud and obnoxious.

I love this spot tucked away in Hendersonville. They serve good drinks, have a worthwhile menu and frequently live music. I enjoy finding a corner, placing an order and pulling out a book to read because it’s so snug and cozy, but when there’s a performance, it’s lively!
I have been meaning to visit Poe house for months - glad I finally did! Awesome environment, great priced beers, and the pizza was DELICIOUS. Came for trivia night, which was a fun crowd. Will definitely be back!
