Great cocktails, delicious small bites, and a funky, offbeat, fun atmosphere in downtown Hendo.

Place was very cozy and eclectic. Didn’t try the food, but mock-tails were great. They let us rent the back room for a party and bring our own food. Very flexible!

I wish I had come for trivia as I love to do those kinds of things. The vibe was also very much things I look for, goth and dark. But somehow it was still cheery here. Will be back when I’m in town again.I recommend the spinach dip bread. It was very good.

We usually go here for weds night trivia. Fun vibes and the staff is cool. Food Is really good too, but we eat before hand cause of how expensive it is. Cocktails are amazing, but $11+ each.

Absolutely amazing spot to grab appetizers and drinks! The cocktails are seasonal and delicious, and the decor is on brand. The service is amazing. We’ve been coming up here for 20+ years and so glad to come across this spot. A lot of fun and great drinks, food and atmosphere.

After having two very bad experiences at The Poe House, we decided to try it one more time while we waited for our dinner table elsewhere. Well, this was the final visit. We walked in and sat at the back bar, the bartender (Cody) literally threw our menus at us and walked away. When he came back he just stood in front of us and said nothing, we had to initiate the conversation that included our drink order.Poor start, lousy soundtrack, disengaged staff. Go elsewhere.

The food was nice, but the staff was not very friendly to us. I assume it's because we are from out of town, but we were looking forward to a quaint little experience.I don't think Mr. Poe would be proud of he was a patron here.

Impressed!! Food was absolutely delicious! We were there for a birthday dinner over the weekend, things were awesome! First time being there for all of us, but definitely won’t be our last!! Our waitress Josie was great, she was very helpful, friendly and attentive! Thanks for the wonderful experience! I wish I had taken photos of all of the food, next time I will!

Sorry to have to do this, but we have lived here a long time, frequented Poe House, etc. and were so ready to listen to the live music and have their amazing drinks and the whole vibe was not happening there for us. Got there early, sat in the back, server not up to date on current menu, and stared at us like it was our fault and offered no options. So many rude people from the minute we walked in all the way to our seat. (Customers) Biggest disappointment was that the music we came to hear could not be heard AT ALL where we were sitting. No sound system to hear it in that room. If you advertise live music these days, and pay that much for appetizers and drinks, you should be able to enjoy the music, not just listen to everyone’s conversation in a quiet room…
