Stumbled upon this gem in 2020 while on vacation in Hendersonville NC, and are so happy we did. A friendly family owned and operated business with their cheese steaks being their simple, yet delicious signature sandwich. Any time we pass through Hendersonville, Woody's is a must!

Best cheesesteak I've had in a long time. Quality ingredients, to the point and delicious. Fries get an honorable mention for being pretty much perfect.
Service was quick and friendly. I had the cheesesteak with provolone, onions, mushrooms, and sweet & hot peppers. It was absolutely delicious. One of the best cheesesteaks I've had. I'll definitely be back!

Small town sub shop with great atmosphere. Their food is delicious. The subs are just like we remember subs to be when we were growing up in NY and these Jersey guys are as close as we're going to get!.They have the amazing chili relish to top it all off.

Friendly staff and cheesesteaks and rolls are done Philly Style! Yummy! If anything I would want rolls warm and a bit more meat! But we will Go again!!!
Excellent Italian sub and cheesesteaks, don't forget to order the delicious French fries as well. Plenty of parking nearby.

Checked out this place on DoorDash originally (DD was not working so I went myself) place is a hole in the wall, but a diamond in the rough for sure. The cheesesteak was absolutely delicious, the onion rings were great, the fries were ok. The customer service was great as well. If you want a cheesesteak done right, come check this place out!
