Updating my response since owner claims my stars weren’t enough - service is a 1 star because owner wants to play victim when you tried to charge us $8 for adding sauce to our chicken wings, and then $3 for a bottle of Kirkland water. 1 star for atmosphere because you have “no video or photography allowed plastered all over the restaurant but had 4 cameras at every table.
Also lowkey racial profiling assuming because Im Asian and own a competitor restaurant lol, not even from hickory just wanted some food.

We just ate here for lunch and spent $94… let me break it down, $22-$25 per meal, $18 for 8 wings, then the guy tried to charge us $3.99 twice to sauce them differently. Then we told him we just wanted soy garlic then, so basically the wings were $22. Then.. $3.50 for one can of Coke, and the same for $3.50 per bottle of Kirkland water.
I’m going to have to agree with prior reviews that some of these reviews seem sus. The food I had was good but honestly for hickory, $94 for lunch is outrageous. We were the only 3 customers in the restaurant for the entire time.
Oh.. and there was no photos and videos signs EVERYWHERE. Yet, I counted 10 surveillance cameras taking photos and videos of me. Very weird.

This place is ridiculously overpriced. Chicken wings was 18 bucks for 8. Wtf?? The cashier had the audacity to charge me $4 twice because I ask for 2 difference sauce. Food was not bad, but def not worth the money.

Very friendly atmosphere. The food is very good too. My son got the cheese corn dog and ate every bit of it. The hot pot bibimbap is delicious.

I love to have more food like this in the Hickory area! I tried 5 dishes & 3 drinks for around $130—calamari, shrimp, beef & veggies, dumplings, & a rice dish. Everything was flavorful. Service was quality. The environment is cleanly. Plenty of parking. Their prices are a bit high but worth it for the quantity. They’re shareable.
Was in the area and ran across this place. The bibimbap was outstanding. I love the crispy rice at the bottom of the hot bowl. If I were local I would be a regular here.

I’ve been here so many times because the food is delicious! If you’ve never had japchae, theirs is sooo so so good!! The japchaebap is so filling too. My other favorites are the jeyook, kimchi jjikae, and kimchi fried rice!! I think about their food all the time, and the owners are always so welcoming and remember me and my friends. I love Korean food and so glad they came to Hickory!
