I went to BAMH for a last-minute wedding gift - mead! Mead is awesome! And this place has a great selection. The owner was very welcoming and informative. Great atmosphere. Tried samples in shot glasses made of horn and bought 4 bottles. I'm looking forward to going back when I'm not crunched for time.
This place was such a fun find while we were in the area. The owner knows a ton about mead, and he answered all of our questions. They have indoor and outdoor seating available as well as nonalcoholic beverage options. Go check out this cute spot. If you're not into mead, they have a wide selection of beers and ciders as well.
My husband and I were visiting Hickory from MD and so happy we decided to stop in Battle Axe Mead House. A great atmosphere and cool vibes. The owner ,Jason, was super friendly and knowledgeable of mead and the town (and surrounding areas)! Highly recommended!
