The food was fantastic, the ambiance was very relaxing, the menu had a very good selection of dietary preferences, and there was a good selection of drinks. The prices were a bit high, although they could have been excused if the service wasn't so bad. Our waiter was rude, rarely seen, and when he did make an appearance, it was delivering our food, never asking or observing if we needed anything. Had a meal with old friends and had a wonderful time. We started with 5 different tapas, all of which were excellent. Then we had various mains, salads, and more tapas. The food was all excellent. Service was attentive without being overbearing. They have a reasonable selection of draft beers and wines by the glass. Overall, this was an excellent evening.
Food was average. Wait staff was polite but not really above average. The balance of my party felt differently than me. I am an out of town guest to Hickory. I hope I will be in Hickory again but will not eat at Boca 😢
