I paid $13 for a fish and chicken plate, not including the drink of course. I don't like fish, it was for my husband, so all I was eating was the chicken. Well I checked to make sure everything was right and the chicken, was not the usual chicken. It had a soft and rubbery feeling, nowhere near the usual crispy and crunchy breaded chicken that it was supposed to be. So I took it in and said it wasn't chicken and the manager informed me that they had changed the chicken about 3 weeks ago. And he went on to say that I would love it and he would see me back there real soon. Well hate to break it to him, but I won't be visiting Captain D's ever again, as long as they are selling that trashy chicken. It's disgusting! So I ended up paying $13 for 2 hush puppies and some fries! My husband ate one piece of the fish and that's it, so the whole meal got thrown away pretty much! I should've just got a refund right then and there but I gave it a fair try, even though the look and feel of it wasn't appetizing to me, and it was plain and rubbery. Just like it looks!! The manager said it was so good that he has one customer that comes in and orders a bunch of it at one time.. but that one guy must be feeding it to his dogs. So if anybody is going to Captain D's with the hopes of getting chicken, I hate to break it to you, but you won't be getting anything near what you will be expecting. They've changed it completely!

I've loved Captain D's since I was a little kid. They have really tasty fish that's fried crispy with an amazing tasting batter on it. I usually eat here once a week when I'm in the area for work. The employees are super nice and they were really fast with my order. I enjoy eating here because it brings back his memories from when I was a kid and we used to eat here. I highly recommend this fish restaurant.Parking: There's a good amount of spots to park around the restaurant as well as an empty parking lot beside Captain D's to park a truck and trailer or just a big truck.

Stopped in for dinner and the food and service was pretty decent. The floors were the reason for the lower score. They were so greasy. Our feet was sliding all over the floor. Bathroom too. I have a handicap of a drop foot so a dangerous situation for me. Hopefully they get the greasy floors taken care of..

I ordered the family meal to go. 10 peice fish with two sides and hush puppies. Everything was delicious but I’m still hungry. They left out 3 fish and I let the teenagers eat first so I just got a taste of fish.
