This was my first time in a Cracker Barrel. Our server was good but the food was mediocre. In fairness, we are Canadian and aren't used to this type of food, but if you like healthier choices, this probably isn't the right choice for you.

It's a late post, but just wanted to recognize the manager on duty. I ordered Easter dinner. The wrong meat was served with my order. I live a little bit out of the way so I wasn't gonna go back that day.. To make a long story short. I called, and explained everything to the manager Keith. He was more than accommodating, and apologized for the inconvenience. One of the kindest personI have met in a while. Just want to say thanks again!

You have a host there by the name of Patrick he is extremely rude and mouthy and very disrespectful he should be fired he works at the cracker barrel in hickory nc and if I was the manager there I would not tolerate it and fire him immediately

Always enjoy having a meal here, the store is larger than the one in Gastonia.On a more recent trip through the area I stopped in for an early dinner. The menu had changed once again and prices were higher. I decided on the Coastal Sampler which is Fried Whitefish and Shrimp. I was disappointed at the size of the two pieces of fish. There were 8 small shrimp. I ordered a side of mac and cheese and coleslaw. The mac and cheese was good. The cole slaw had a lot of huge pieces of cabbage and wasn't very good. the Whitefish tasted ok the shrimp tasted like the breading. The tarter sauce was sweet and not very good. My server brought some cocktail sauce after I was about a third of the way through that was reminiscent of a bad store brand that I once purchased and threw away. $13.99 which would have been reasonable had the food quality been better. Come on Cracker Barrel don't fall by the way with other restaurants who constantly change the menu and up your prices with subpar offerings. I left disappointed but I did tip my server for her good service.
