Absolutely LOVE coming here for sandwiches. The Rover with Turkey is my ABSOLUTE favorite. Truly one of the top 3 sandwiches I've eaten, ever! Highly recommend!

I uber'd here to watch the game. After an hour I was on my 4th short, weak drink and was reminded that I was, I told him I uber'd there and he told me that there isn't uber in hickory, I've personally taken 30 ubers in the last month and a half, he basically called me a liar... so I squared up. Left him a dollar tip. And took another uber to shooters. Oh...and just one other couple in the bar for a playoff NFL game.

You sometimes have to make yourself known because it can get a little loud & busy, but everyone is super friendly & eager to help once you do. Everything I've had from the menu has been delicious, from mixed drinks to appetizers to dinners. There are great vegetarian options, the prices are extremely reasonable, AND they are open late!!! I recommend Crescent Moon to sit & eat or grab for take out. I've now done both several times without any disappointment.

The place was very dark upon arrival and I wasn't sure about the vibe, but the menu looked good and not crazy expensive, so we sat down. They have a lot of things that can be made vegan! I got a New moon sandwich and it was delicious. The slaw was great too. This place is so unassuming from the outside that it took us a bit to find it. It was worth the effort. Friendly service and perhaps the most delicious cheesy spinach artichoke dip I've ever had. My husband loved his flatbread and they had a great range of beers. Only slight downside was that it was a bit draughty where we were seated from the AC system. I was glad I had my warm cardigan and scarf. Will definitely be back. Great find.Vegetarian options: Lots of veggie options and if they're all as good as I had, it's top of my list for veggie food in Hickory.Parking: No problems on a Saturday lunchtime on a rainy December day.
