The food was amazing. The soy-oyster sauce was really good - would recommend anything with that on it. The service was also really good and our food came out pretty quickly. Will definitely be back!

I’m so proud of this restaurant’s growth. I have been a reoccurring customer since they were located at the Olivers Landing Clubhouse. The food? Nothing like it. I personally love the Linguine a lo Macho and it’s perfect E-V-E-R-Y-T-I-M-E. That’s hard to do. I recently visited their new location in Newton and it was like visiting family. Our favorite waitress was there, who makes the perfect peach martini, and the food continued to wow. I cannot recommend this restaurant and i hope they continue to succeed. They deserve it!

Food was very good...portions are generous. Must try the scallops appetizer. The atmosphere was more casual than I expected. There was live music the night we were there so a bit loud but would have been fine had we expected it. Service was just okay but will definitely go back again.

We were promptly greeted and sat, our server was very helpful and knowledgeable with choosing our meal since it was our first experience eating Peruvian. Atmosphere was good, hoping they will have some outdoor seating in nice weather. Food arrived at the table incredibly quick and hot. Serving size was robust, flavor was top notch and my filet was cooked to perfection. Server checked in on us refilling and assuring meal was prepared correctly and to our standard. Pricing was very fair including cocktails that were well balanced. We have plans to return before the weeks end and bringing freinds.

El Batan is a wonderful alternative to the ubiquitous fast food options in Newton! Both the Arroz con Mariscos and Mariscos 'El Batan' were very tasty. Portions were generous, and service was pleasant.
So yummy! The menu was a little hard for me to grasp, but we threw a dart and all the food was delicious. Will definitely return for the Linguine al Aji Amarillo and to try something new!
