El Paso Mexican Restaurant

Food was delicious, but I ordered two frozen Margaritas - a Strawberry and a El Paso - both with NO SALT. At first the server told me it was sugar but I tasted it and it was clearly salt. I told him it was salt and he took it away and brought it what appeared to be a new drink. As I drank it there was definitely salt in the bottom of the drink as if the original drink was just poured into a new glass. I stired it trying to mix in the salt but left most of it! :(

This is the worst experience ive had at a restaurant. I have served my entire life and never had an experience like this. I set there for 2 hours paid almost a $100 worth of food And then we were accused of not paying our bill. And we set there for over 30 minutes waiting for our change. I will never go here again. The waiter tried to take our money and thought it was funny. And they serve underage people alcohol. Then never check ids! We watched.

Food is great! Best Mexican joint in Hickory imo. I just have a problem with the attitude I’ve gotten from the waitstaff the last few times. I’m easy going and work in the restaurant business as well. I’d maybe tone down the attitude before someone puts you in check.

I had ordered food online for this location for my family on my way home from work, and when I got home, my child's kid's meal was missing. I checked my e-receipt, and it was ordered, so this is due to their mistake. I would not be able to drive back as I live too far, so I called to ask for a refund or something else, but they said since I ordered it online, that I couldn't get a refund from the restaurant directly, that people just know how to contact the online site I had ordered from to request a refund... However, from what I understand, I selected their website to order from (bit.ly). This is not ok, and I truly would appreciate a manager to reach out in response. And for those saying it's my personal responsibility to check my food, I guarantee you've only heard that from places that do not hold themselves accountable for their service and actions.

We loved this place. We would go every week or so and have not had problems until this past Friday 3/7/25.
We ordered our favorite Seafood Nachos and we were shorted 2 shrimp (4 of 6) and it appeared to be "cooked" in a broiler with the chips without turning over the shrimp or the scallops.
We notified the server explained the problem.
They went back for 20 mins, they stuck the same plate of nachos back in the broiler. They didnt try making a new order.
The sour cream melted into the queso cheese, so they scouped more sour cream on it, the avacado was brown from the heat and the dinner disgusted us. We ate what we could.
We were charged full price.
Awful. Will be looking for another Mexican resteraunt to be our go to place. Too bad, we have been patrons for years at El Paso.

Tried calling now says call blocked

Julianna (hostess) got my take out order ready for me on Christmas Eve. We come here quite often to get carry out orders so we are faithful customers. I was confused about how many chips come with our order so I asked her a question (apparently twice) and she responded with, “I already answered that question, I won’t answer it again.” Really?! It was all over $1.50 bag of chips. This is NOT the person you want greeting customers as they enter your business. Will not be coming back to this LOUSY service.

Great everything. Food, Staff, atmosphere was awesome. Went there to watch my Dodgers lose but had a good time. Definitely going there again.

Parking: Plenty of parking.

Kid-friendliness: Kids were running around. Its kinda a loud atmosphere so yelling kids wont piss you off.

Wheelchair accessibility: Theres a wheel chair ramp right at the front door.
