Gunpowder Creek Distillers

Was closed at 3:10 on a Saturday. We drove 1hr to check them out. We will not be going back.

We drove out of our way to visit this distillery- we went during the posted hours on Google and it was closed with blinds pulled with no signage indicating why or a change in hours. Super frustrating and a waste of time.

We drove an hour one way to come here, at a time when their website and Google said they were open, and when we got there, the open sign wasn’t lit and the door was locked. I also called twice and there was no answer. It mostly looked like a running business through the window but the fact that they weren’t open when they were supposed to be and the fact that they haven’t posted on Facebook or Instagram in over three years makes me think that this business is permanently closed. And if they’re not permanently closed, then they need to update their hours.

Went at 4pm on a Friday and they were closed ....

Pretty good NC made whiskey. Would definitely stop by again

This is a “Must Stop” along I-40. Everything from the tasting to the tour was fantastic.

Awesome, Local whiskey. Better than the big names by a mile
