I read reviews before I decide to try a new restaurant and this one had good review, so I gave it a try. I was hoodwinked by the reviews! The ribs appeared to be boiled or broiled, not smoked and they did not taste seasoned at all. Very bland. They were also very pricey ($17, six bones). I generally don’t make an issue about the price if the food is worth it. Terrible, just terrible.

Great locally owned place for fantastic BBQ. Their bbq sauces are what make it for me. I work at Verizon down the street and we order from them weekly. Great folks there. Sad to hear about them closing after all these years.

Incredibly good smokehouse food. Try the sampler brisket, smoked turkey, ribs and bbq. Even the sides are super red cole slaw, beans, bunswick stem, fried corn on the cob, Mac&Cheese and so on and the price is right. This is a seriously good pig out provided by a really friendly staff.

I love their pulled bra but now u get so little on the bun u can hardly taste . I ask for sweet sauce I got home poured it on my wee sandwich I took a bite and my head blew off . You had good home fries for years now they are a low grade . I have been a great customer since u opened but it’s not working now I will miss it . I went to school with Robert he is a nice guy .. My husband and I stopped in Hickory to pick up a bicycle from Rock N Road Bicycles and we were advised to stop in for lunch here. This little hidden gem is lovely! The food is incredible, the service is fast, restaurant is clean, and the employees are so friendly. I ate the best hush puppies, ribs, and brisket of my life here. Highly recommended!
