Manager, Kelsey(I sure hope I got her name, correct) extremely customer oriented, and she’s professional, yet array of sunshine! Food it’s always great We’ve eaten there many times and have yet to be disappointed Michael has been our server on several occasions and he is a five star employee for sure!! He makes the visit even more enjoyable!

we went twice before last summer . everything was great. we went again this April and it was NOT good. Not sure what happened.. the Turkey Swiss and onion on sourdough bread came out disguised as marble rye burnt and dry. the dry onions were plastered into the cheese . the cheese was hard and not melty and the meat was 2 round pieces of overdone slabs of salty turkey. The Sandwich was dry dry dry. Awful. awful awful

Walked in on Friday, 4 April at 3 PM, got seated and no one ever came to the table, they stood around and talked in the center of the restaurant, we got up at 3:35 and walked out, I looked around to find somebody And no one was around, will never go back.

Pretty standard sports bar, decent beer selection, and the food selection has a wide variety for everyone. I've had the Rueben, burger, a few salads, buffalo chicken wrap, salmon, shrimp and grits, and the asian power bowl.
If you are going to eat here, do so in the restaurant. The take-out/pick-up system is horrendous and has, two times, been a 25+ min wait MORE than the suggested pick-up time. The pick-up area is ambiguous and the front of house team does not really explain how and where to pick-up. I tried following the bartender for 5-6 minutes to ask about the order. I suppose he could tell why I was there and avoided me to the point of looking down while I was in front of him. The orders have been incorrect both times. It's not frustrating when it's small things like sides or leaving tomatoes off a burger, but forgetting salad dressings, forgetting proteins for salads on top of messing up those small things is just maddening.
In-house the service is usually decent. I've had incorrect orders brought to me after a 30-45 min wait for food and just roll with it. I'm not picky but if I was a patron of this place, I would be livid. The menu looks expansive but items are used from other dishes to give the menu more breadth. (e.g. the rice for the ASIAN power bowl is the yellow Mexican rice, wtf). Nothing has any real flavor. Just go somewhere else. There are plenty of quality food options in Hickory. I only come here when meeting a group that wants to go here, and to be honest, they are probably only coming here for the TV's cause the food is WAYYY overpriced for quality, and poorly seasoned.

As always the food was delicious and our service was outstanding. We were celebrating a friend's birthday and had a great time. Our server, Trinity, was superb. The place was extremely busy, but she gave us great service. The "Tavern Salad* will never disappoint. It's always a great choice. 10/10 recommend dining here!!!!!!
