Waitress waited on two tables that came in after us and never acknowledged us. Got up and left a no one said a word. Not a good practice for a new place. Good luck making it with bad service.

We got pulled pork plates. Tried Mac n Cheese, Beans (not your average beans..had onion, 2 types of beans, jalepenos - YUM), Sweet Potato Casserole, & FF. Chose Jalepeno cornbread & hushpuppies. Each & every bite was soooo good!!! Waitress was a jewel. Highly Recommend.

Wonderful ribs and pulled pork. Perfectly smoked with love and time. Fall of the bone ribs. Pulled pork very tender. Smoked on location. Great warm reception upon entry and service throughout our time there. We will be back. Highly recommend. Chris is very good at the meat preparation and smoking. Keep your eye on him. Good location and all staff get 10/10.

I've had BBQ in many places and now I've had Hughs Q!! Speechless. Tried the pulled pork, chicken and brisket and yowzers. Great amazing food. As good as any BBQ I've ever tried. Will def be back.
The beans were a nice change; not very sweet. They give you some jalapeno and pickled onion, along with your other sides. The Carolina sauce is rly good too; not too liquidy.
Food was great and service was ok. Only thing I didn't like was on the 3 meat platter they charge extra $3 EACH for the more popular meats so I had to pay an extra $9 for my meal alone for something that's normally a staple in ANY barbecue place. I have never seen another place do this and won't be going back because of this.
$60 for only 2 people is too high for BBQ especially when there are other options around

Positives: Meats (pork and chicken) had a nice smoke on them, good flavor as well. Negatives: beans needed some assistance with some BBQ sauce. Without the sauce they tasted like canned beans, jalapeño cornbread was very dry. Had to remove 5 small bones from my mouth as they was in the pulled chicken.

I don't understand why this place is not packed. The food is delicious. The meat is smoked perfectly, tender and juicy! Very large portions for the money. My beer, on tap, $3. I definitely make this my go-to place when I'm in town.

On vacation, looking for good BBQ. Found GREAT BBQ instead! Excellent food! Our group ordered brisket, pulled pork, ribs, sweet taters, beans, French fries & salad. ALL wonderful! They are truly legit. Have a HUGE smoker out back and did an excellent job infusing that flavor into their meats. Beer on tap was delicious and inexpensive! Hope they continue being this good and that people give them a try!
