A friend recommended trying this little place in Hickory. I was very pleased with the food quality. I had the whole fried red snapper and Thai beer. Menu was simple and easy to follow, not a monstrous list Waitress was lovely and service reasonably quick. I would recommend.

We visited in a whim and were pleasantly surprised by the experience. From the warm welcome, professional and courteous service to excellent food and lovely atmosphere. We will definitely come back.

Wonderful place that’s run by great people. I’ve been coming here for the past year, maybe two - the food has always been exceptionally delicious and the service excellent. Best Thai I’ve had and one of my favorite places :)

I should have understood that most people in a small town haven't had much exposure to Thai food. My mistake. This must account for all these glowing reviews. I live in a big U.S. city and was craving Thai. Reviews looked good. First off: Our chairs were absolutely disgusting. Cushions had food stains all over them. There was all kinds of little pieces of trash under the table. And I'm not a clean freak but this was just disgusting. This isn't Lone Star steakhouse.....what the hell? Not peanut shells...just trash from earlier tables that the server never bothered to clear. Appetizers were chicken coconut soup (bland and boring (2 out of 10), basil rolls (they were "OK" but nothing more....the peanut sauce was again VERY bland and watery (4 out of 10)), and the dumplings had way too much sesame oil. They were all edible just not very good (4 out of 10). the dumplings were congealed from having been frozen and poorly thawed. I'm not a chef by any means but I do take my food seriously --- unlike the chef here. The fried rice with chicken and pinapple was VERY disappointing. Portion size was large but flavor was -- again -- absent. Except if you count the cumin in it -- yes, cumin. The owner came by -- when we said my mom couldn't eat it -- and told us she should have read that it had turmeric in it. I travel for my job -- been to Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, India, China ,Macao, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, etc. Yes, lady, i've eaten turmeric before. That tweren't it. But whatevvs, it's just fried rice. Let's get this ship righted. The owner lady said we were welcome to order something else but she wouldn't replace it with the fried rice because we should have read that it had turmeric. No switch outs. My Pad prik curry had zero heat (server never asked us what heat level we wanted and almost zero flavor. I sent it back and asked that they put some spice in the curry. When it returned it had a good amount of heat but still no flavor. I doused it with salt to get some flavor out of iit. Once i did all that, it was OK. Probably a 5 out of 10. At this point you had to laugh though: dirty chairs, dirty floors, (we didn't dare go to the bathroom....), app plates never disappeared from the table the whole time dnining despite them being completely empty when the mains arrived, (with napkins dunked on the plates).....i mean the list just goes on and on. They didn't even ask if we wanted dessert (we didn't) -- they just placed the check down and ran away. The best part: they close at 9:00 pm on a Friday night. At 9:03 pm they turned the lights off while people still dining. I'm not kidding you. Disgusting business owners, disgusting food, and disgusting cleanliness. I guess if you grew up in Catawba county and you have never really traveled anywhere, and don't mind eating in a pig pen, you will probably find this food just fine. But if you've ever traveled and have eaten real Thai food, you will be as disappointed as I was.
