Yes, part of the LR family supporting the college/university all my life. Always thought it special to make a trip from Lincolnton with my wife, LRC '68, for a good time in Hickory. Now much older and living in Hickory, I slip away often to Kick Back's for lunch. Love the service and friendliness of the staff.

Food was good, service was good and prices comparable to today’s world. Fries were real potatoes. Wings flavor was good, would have preferred more sauce. Very good atmosphere as well. Beautiful outside deck. We”ll be back!

We've visited many times and I'm just now leaving a review. I'd say overall it's hit or miss. Usually the wait time for a party under 4 isn't too long. We don't prefer the high top tables because the chairs are difficult for kids, but if you want a booth you will wait longer. The service is sometimes excellent and other times, like today, not great.
