Disappointed by the Customer Service
I went through the drive-thru at the McDonald’s on Highway 70 recently, and while the food was fine, the customer service was really lacking. When we pulled up to the window, the employee didn’t greet us, say hello, or acknowledge us at all. He handed the food over pretty abruptly and had what I can only describe as RBF the entire time. Not a single word. No “hi,” “thank you,” or even a “have a nice day.” I even mentioned to the employee that a simple “have a nice day” would have been nice, and all I received in return was a head nod, which made it clear the point went right over his head.
I understand that fast food can be a stressful job and everyone has off days, but basic courtesy goes a long way. My husband also mentioned he’s dealt with the same attitude from this employee before, so it doesn’t seem like a one-time issue. A simple greeting or “thanks” really makes a difference in a customer’s experience. Hopefully, management can remind their team how important those small interactions are.

Not happy with service. Employee changed for a drink and coffee I didn't order. She added it to my order, and when I questioned her, she said she couldn't change it. To not be rude, I accepted it in stride even though she would not involve the manager. I only asked for water but got to pay for drinks I didn't want. No more business from me.
