Martín (the cook) is a local legend. Best bar food in downtown. Has a small, good beer selection and a charming atmosphere.
I use to come here years ago. In town for a day and dropped by. Seems to be closed for a while
a fun place, food is good with full service bar and games; this is a must for dining out, for a change
Monday night trivia is fun and Maggie is a great bartender.
A staple in my community since I came of age in the mid 80s. I imagine a good number of folks bought their first drink in a bar here.
Lovely. And had a lovely server, she was great. But an Irish pub needs a real cider (Angry Orchard is NOT cider) on draft. Period.
Chill place to grab a place a drink and hangout. There beer prices are pretty good
Very nice. Staff is great and the food is very good.
Trivia is fun, service is just OK.
I had the Churchill, she had the Rachael. Both fantastic fresh pub sandwiches. Truly one of Hickory's hidden spots for a great sandwich and a cold beer. Friendly and helpful staff. Has the 'local watering hole' vibe and appearance.

What can I say about McGuire's? I love it. I've been going to McGuire's since before I could drink, and I've got all kinds of memories there.
