I am new to the Hickory area, and came across this restaurant in my search to find a good Chinese take-out spot. The food here was actually really good. I tried the general Tso's chicken and my fiance had the chicken curry, which he asked to be made extra spicy. The General's chicken had a nice crunch and the coating was not "gummy" like some places. The rice is my favorite you can eat it by itself. The fried chicken at times can be hit or miss but I think it depends on the cook . But overall really good different taste then usual . The rice is to die for !!!!!!

Food is always good and fresh with the exception of the wontons. Wontons are not fresh they taste old and they have very little filling. They used to be the best definitely not the case anymore.
