Domino’s pizza North Center Street Hickory NC absolutely refuses to deliver pizza to any predominantly black neighborhood. It gets dark at 5:30pm now, it’s pathetic, and disgraceful. I stopped eating there for years over this exact reason, my kids were asking for Domino’s specifically for some odd reason so I tried ordering online and the POS website would not work properly so we called in to order and everything was fine. The gentleman called back 15 minutes later saying they cannot deliver specifically because there is a low income neighborhood over a mile down the road. I live in a $260k fenced in home directly across from a public library and gym. I will never ever spend my money with this POS racist company again.

Placed my order at 11:10 pm on Halloween after looking up and making sure they close at midnight. Plenty of time for them to cancel and let me take my business elsewhere. If its busy, cancel SOONER, NOT 7 MINUTES BEFORE EVERYONE CLOSES ON A FRIDAY EXCEPT BARS.

I ordered a pizza to be delivered to the Oncology center where I receive chemotherapy. After confirming the address would display the correct location (and entrance) I left detailed drop off instructions in the appropriate box.
After payment was processed online and the screen loaded the Papa Tracker I was informed that my order was now being delivered by DoorDash with no option to change or cancel. I was given the driver's (Fanny) phone number and I texted them the info in the delivery instructions; that I was at the Oncology Center receiving chemo and one of the staff would collect the order and bring it to me. Fanny did not respond. Fanny delivered my order to a building a ¼ mile down the road and I only discovered their mistake when the staff there called me directly. Fanny did not respond to my texts informing them of their mistake and I *only* received my pizza because one of the nurses here at my Oncologist's office took the time out of their busy day to collect the order as I had an IV in me and could not physically move.
Dealing with cancer has been a harrowing experience and I'm incredibly embarrassed that I was put in this position.

Pizza's pretty good. In my opinion, not as good as Pizza Hut, better than Dominos or Little Caesars. You get what you pay for, essentially.
Be warned, the coupon codes they send in the mail will NOT work if you order over the phone. For customers that cannot or prefer not to order through an app, this is disappointing.

What can I say bad about the Papa that hasn’t already been said? Fresh ingredients, fresh Pizza! Great staff, always friendly, even during their busiest hour. Nice to see the slapping Dough transformed to a delicious slice of Italy!

It wasn’t bad place our order at 9:50 waiting almost an hr and half . Just to realize it was door dash fault . So I had to go get my own pizza around 11:30 . They somehow mange to keep it warm so props . I mostly blame it on DoorDash and got a free pizza out of it .

Pizza has always been good, but ever since they started using Doordash for their delivery service, it's been horrible. First time, the driver held the box's vertical, and the pizzas were destroyed. The second time the driver got lost, and when pizzas were delivered, they were cold. If we decide to order pizza now, I always go to pick it up. In my opinion, big mistake that PaPa John's started using Doordash for delivery.

Horrible experience. Tried to buy 2 $8.99 to-go pizzas. Was told a can only buy 1 with my coupon. So I asked for a Shaq-a-roni & a $8.99 pizza. Nope, I can't get 2 specialities. So I went to pizza hut and will never be back to Papa John's in Hickory. Shame on you.
