I've been a regular customer at this Papa John's and generally, my experiences have been positive. However, my latest order on the evening of 3/25/24 was far from satisfactory. I ordered an XL cheese pizza but received a medium size instead. To make matters worse, the pizza arrived cold, requiring me to heat it up before it was edible. This experience was very disappointing, and it has led me to reconsider whether I will order from this particular Papa John's location in the future.

We ordered the cheesey calzone pizza. Mainly because it was advertised with ricotta cheese blend in the stuffed crust part What it was like was a plain mozzarella cheese stick in the stuffed crust Yes the pizza was eatable, but not what was advertised so I gave two stars because it is disappointing when you look forward to something a certain way

I ordered the new garlic stuffed crust and was excited to try it. Only to be given the spicy one. I checked my order history to make sure I hadn’t ordered the wrong one and I had indeed ordered the one that wasn’t spicy. I couldn’t eat it. Got another pizza today. Inedible, it had no cheese and what seemed like a gallon of tomato sauce. Not to mention last year when they were giving me hour wait times and then claiming they had no order. Trash place. Never again.

VERY RUDE LATE NIGHT STAFF ! THE PERSON WHO TOOK MY ORDER DIDN'T HEAR THE RIGHT ADDRESS AFTER IT WAS REPEATED TO THEM .. THE DRIVER CALLED TO TELL ME HE WAS OUTSIDE BUT IT WASNT MY ADDRESS HE WAS AT! WITHIN A 5 MIN INCRAMENT OF HIM CALLING I CALLED BACK , NO ANSWER SO I CALLED THE STORE , IM NOT SURE OF HER NAME BUT 0/10 HORRIBLE ATTITUDE! SHE STATED THAT I WOULD BE RESPONSIBLE FOR GETTING MY DINNER BECAUSE THEY HAD ALREADY SENT A DRIVER OUT(BUT NOT TO MY ADDRESS) OR I COULD GET A REFUND? I HAVENT PAID THEM ANY MONEY SO IM CONFUSED AS TO WHO RECIEVED MY FOOD AND PAID! AFTER I GUESS SHE WAS AGGRAVATED WITH ME ASKING HOW IT'S MY FAULT THEY DELIVERED TO THE WRONG PLACE EVEN AFTER AGREEING IT WAS RIGHT , SHE THEN THREATENED TO BLACKLIST ME FROM CALLING THE STORE FOR FURTHER ORDERS! BECAUSE I WAS "MAKING THINGS DIFFICULT" .

Do not come to this store and expect to be treated decently or even get hot food. The employees here are rude and do not care about you or your pizza and only want your money. Order from one of the many other better places around.
2nd bad experience with Papa Johns. First time, the driver didn't give me my change. The second time, I ordered online as I always do. The app said it would be 62-72 mins, which was ok. I got a call, wasn't able to answer due to the nature of my work. I called back and was told they "voided" my order, because they couldn't find the address. I've ordered from Papa Johns at least 5 times here in Hickory, and had it delivered to the same place.

Place order at 10:30. Call make sure was processed cause app wasn’t loading to say it was processed. Told be delivered at 11:06 I sat outside waiting until 11:40 because said they where arriving. Try calling store multiple times when was taking awhile no answer. Order said deliver and never got my food. Very disappointed
