Everything is simply amazining. This is the first time i have ever experienced this style of eatting. As im doing the daniel 21 day fast. And after 4 days in i really needed help finding somewhere i could get something to eat. And they were Phenomonal with helping me and the meal i got. Oh my god was amazing. Thank u plant base boss and google foe telling me about u guys. Ill be see u alot and even after the fast is over

Our favorite vegan restaurant close to home! We've eaten here many times and I usually get a burger but a colleague encouraged me to try the Barbecue sandwich. Even though I've been vegan for more than a decade, my eastern NC upbringing still comes through in barbecue snobbery, but man,did this vegan barbecue sandwich tick all the right boxes! Fantastic! I couldn't put it down and devoured it in an obscenely short amount of time.

I’ve been a big fan of Plant-Based Boss since they first opened. Little backstory: my parents have been vegetarian/pescatarian for over 3 decades; they raised my brother and I with the same diet. Obviously, there weren’t always a lot of veggie-friendly options when I was a kid. So, Plant-Based Boss is basically my childhood dream come true: a restaurant where I can eat anything on the menu.
This time, I ordered the Mission Burrito (aka Super Burrito) with carne asada. Never been able to try carne asada (because duh, it’s meat), and DAMN I totally get why people love the non-veg version! I would include pictures, but I was unable to resist devouring it before I could snap some.
Listen… you can never go wrong with a burrito in general. But trust me when I say that the Super Burrito does NOT disappoint! Bonus points for the salsa, which is also made in-house; I’m picky with salsa (I grew up eating my mom’s homemade salsa, which is superior to all), but their salsa is to die for. Chunky but not too chunky, spicy but not too spicy, with the fresh taste of a truly homemade salsa… chef’s kiss.
Vegetarians, vegans, pescatarians and others: trust me, this restaurant will not disappoint! You can practically taste the dedication to good, healthy food and love of the culinary arts in every bite!

The food is absolutely delicious! I wish I lived closer to go more often. Ive had the Uncle John's BBQ sandwich which is smokey, savory BBQ topped with tangy pickles and yummy slaw. And the Hawaiian bowl is filling and has a wonderful combination of flavors. I cannot wait to go back for more. I really hope they thrive in Hickory.

As an unapologetic carnivore, I did not expect much from this restaurant. However, I was wonderfully surprised and very happy. What the food lacks in meat is more than made up for in flavor.
