The food is good, but it's very overpriced for the small portions they serve. It's a lot of junk food, impossible burgers, nachos and such. Also, they have been posting some very questionable stuff on their social media, like conspiracy theories from far right influencers. I don't feel comfortable going here again.

Plant Based Boss is a staple to the Hickory community! I go frequently with a vegetarian friend (I’m a non-vegetarian/vegan but enjoy the cuisine) and we almost always get the Olmec Bowl together, sit down, and catch up on months of news for one another. The owners are always pleasant and recommend the best food on their menu. I can’t wait to go every time I do and always leave feeling full. Already looking forward to my next visit 😁

If you haven't tried their cookies, you are really missing out! They are amazing and hard to believe they are vegan! We have been ordering them by the dozens and sending them to family all over the country. Our personal favorites are Pistachio and the Lemon and Lavender. All are delicious and the owner is amazing!!

The food and people here are equally amazing! The owners really put their heart into this establishment and it's obvious. The gold standard is one of the best smoothies I've had. I also got the olmec bowl and it was filling and delicious. Highly recommend this place and plan to visit more often!

First time here today. It was really good. I am usually not a fan of imitation meat but their’s is made in house and very good without a lot of processing chemicals. Burrito bowl was very good and filling. My only suggestion would be to offer some more fresh vegetable dishes like leafy salads or roasted / stir fry veg without the imitation meat.
