I usually love Starbucks, but today’s experience was really disappointing. We ordered three drinks, and from the start, an employee named Lydia, her attitude was off. Every time we mentioned a new drink, she rolled her eyes, which felt really rude. We get that the holidays are busy, and we tried to stay understanding, but her behavior just kept getting worse. By the end, we were left feeling frustrated, not just with the drinks, but with the poor service. I hope Starbucks looks into this, as it really affected our visit today.

One of the employees named Alanis with blue hair and pronouns took my order today. I intentionally paused after I was done to see if she was going to offer me the new Raccoon Cake Pop. I waited but instead she told me my total and walked away. A gorgeous woman named Jasmine floated over to the register before I could put my card in and offered the Raccoon Cake Pop to me and it made my whole day! That was the best Raccoon Cake Pop I’ve ever tried! Thank you to Jasmine for the wonderful suggestion, no thanks to Alanis (Blue Hair and Pronouns) however.

3 stars because the girl that rang me up was nice. The tall man working today wouldn't sell a cranberry bliss bars tray and said i had to buy each of them individually @ $3.65 each instead of $19 for the tray because he didn't know how to ring it up. No thanks.
They don’t know how to make a simple drink. Like the caramel ribbon crunch it has no

Terrible attitudes
My daughter and I went in on 12/31/23. We ordered three drinks. An iced latte, and two frozen. We received all three iced. We asked to have the drinks fixed. The lady started making a new drink but used whole milk, my daughter said it was suppose to be oat milk. (She has an allergy). The worker dumped the cup out and started making the drink. I asked for a new cup and she tossed the old cup across the place. We will not be going back there.

I came in on the evening of 11/25 to order coffee with a friend whom I was visiting and hadn’t seen in awhile. They had a line, but four people working behind the counter (I’m an ex target Starbucks barista and that is a lot for a chain as that). The young man was rude when taking my iced coffee order, didn’t wait to ask if I wanted milk or let me ask for it, didn’t put that I wanted the Brown Sugar Sprinkle on my cup so it wasn’t added but I paid for it, and didn’t ask for my name. Then when I go back and try to ask for some heavy cream in a small cup, they take my cup back (which really shouldn’t do that once I’ve taken it, are you servesafe compliant) and then proceed to put too much half and half because they can’t be bothered to ask how much I want or to give me small cup of Heavy Cream that I requested. Very glad to pay for a $5 coffee I ended up hating and didn’t feel comfortable asking to have it remade (which is the Starbucks promise) because of the attitude of all the workers and how it was so inconvenient they were having to make coffee the way people wanted.

There is a barista at this store named Lucas who changed my life. I know that it sounds silly but I just lost my mother and his kind words and exceptional customer service made me feel a lot better, I really needed that. What I did not need was the female barista, Kayla, to berate me and laugh in my face. Apparently servicing a grieving customer is “standing around talking” to her. I also saw her yell at Lucas for no apparent reason while he was working and she was on “break” I haven’t seen Lucas at the store in a while and I hope that girls mean words don’t have anything to do with it! -ML

Cheese danish shortage is annoying. After 2 locations in Hickory being out of stock, I am going to make some at home.
