I love these subs! They always pile on the toppings which is awesome. #13 is my go to sub. Subway isn't really an option for me as long Sub Station II is around. I have 5 stars for the food, the atmosphere isn't the best for date night but I'm usually a drive through and take home guy anyway.
Some of the best subs in Hickory. The staff has been there forever and knows you by face. The new building is stark and not as comfortable to eat in as the old place. The old building had old pictures on the wall, carpet and wood paneling. The new one it's too bright and hard and cold. They lost much of their personality in the move. Don't get me wrong, the food is still great, but I all more likely to get takeout more than eat in.
I've lived in Hickory for years and had never been here before today. Shame on me because the sandwich was amazing! I got a large #19 with mayo and mustard, but no tomatoes or onions. I had no idea how much sandwich I had ordered! I will be taking the second half home.The gentleman at the counter was very nice and helpful, and he did a fantastic job putting the sandwiches together.It was not busy during Saturday afternoon and the aethstetic is old fashioned but clean.
