Lunch buffet had 4 main dishes & 2 soups. We went at 1:30 so food was a little over cooked & just warm. No side dishes like salad, rice or beans. Drinks & soup in styrofoam which is non recycleable. Buffet was in the. Bar area & soup was in next room. Dining room had a lot of large tables covered with plastic table cloths & was dark with no atmosphere. They have a lot of work to do that would improve this place ie move all food to dining room, skip soup when it’s 90 outside, increase temp on food, ditch the styrofoam, add salad, rice, beans, get fewer smaller tables with condiments & decor, improve lighting. Staff was friendly & helpful. Regular menu had some excellent choices & I suspect they have a good chef. Food was not bad just not up to par for what we had to be called good Cuban food

First time here. The food was good. My wife salad didn’t come with everything it stated on the menu but what was there was good. I had the cubana sandwich and it was good. The service was not so good. When we got our food, we had no silverware so we asked the young lady to bring us some. So instead of bringing our silverware she took another order and was chatting with some patrons. About 10 minutes later a gentleman finally brought us some. The young lady was complaining out loud about her job and didn’t want to be there. The place is nice tho. But we won’t come back. Terrible service. Very hard to park too. Very small buffet. Looked like only 4-5 items.

The atmosphere was relaxing and nice, the service was excellent, but the food was truly spectacular. I had the Cubano Chicken which is a beautiful mixed green salad with grilled chicken fillets and a citrus vinaigrette. The whole experience was reminiscent of the carribbean.

My absolute favorite place to have lunch in Hickory. The main draw for me is their buffet, which consists of 4 dishes and 2 soups. Each day the menu changes, so it's constantly a fresh experience. Every dish that I've tried there has been outstanding. If you are in Hickory around lunch time, you owe it to yourself to eat here, especially if you like variety, and their prices are stellar to boot. Best food and for the best price.
Excellent service, our host whipped up a soup for my gluten free friend, and gave us an appetizer on the house. Food was incredible as always

We just moved to town and was looking for somewhere that sold cuban sandwiches . my husband spoke to the owner and ordered cuband for us .we also told the owner to surprise us with a few other things off the menu. This is by far the BEST food in town!!! The prices are more than reasonable and you can tell the owner truly cares for his customers and business . We will be going back on a regular basis . if i could have given 20 stars i would have !!! Chevk this place out you will not be disappointed
