This is the type of place I'd like to see more of in High Point!I love what they're trying to do here; the shop itself has a great vibe.There are a few things that need improvement though.Ordered an Iced Americano, the espresso was smooth and flavorful, but the ratio of espresso to water was off and it was a little watery.Service was slow and because it was a rainy weekend everyone was just kind of packing into the tiny room with no real idea of where to stand. My family enjoyed Joy Coffee Bar today. The service was great! I love what you stand for. I have supported other establishments in the past who claim to help special needs but are not paying fair wages which I did not realize. No more of that I would rather support a company doing the right thing. Thank you for doing what is right and paying them fairly. We love your mission. We will be supporting your shop and hope that it does very well.
Their matcha latte was delicious. I appreciated that it was not a pre-sweetened mix or concentrate and that I could add my own level of sweetness upon ordering. Would def come back!
