I brought some friends here for a birthday dinner, and we had a fantastic experience! The staff was friendly, attentive, and professional, and the food was absolutely delicious. The atmosphere felt relaxed yet special. A perfect place to celebrate or just enjoy a great meal. You can tell there’s real passion behind this restaurant. I’ll definitely be back soon!

Wonderful restaurant. I've been here a few times and had the pad Thai and the tofu (insane!) but tonight I had the crying tiger steak and it was exceptional. We got a tour of their event space and it was huge and well decorated!

I went to 98 Bistro for the first time today and will definitely be back! The wait staff, bartender, and owner were an absolute delight! Walking in, you can tell the owner put so much care into every detail from the decor to the menu! My party tried 3 different appetizers (the vegetable and chicken dumplings, satay chicken, and crispy tofu) as well as the beef pad thai, chicken pad thai, and garlic chicken. Everything was delicious with generous portion sizes. I highly recommend giving this place a try!

I used to go frequently, but I have been so disappointed the last few times. The last time I made a purchase, I got home, realized something was missing my order, had to drive all the way back to get it. I didn’t receive an offer to make amends, and I left with the impression that they didn’t care.

Response to owner feedback - we ordered pad thai & side of fried rice. Both dishes lacked flavor. Pad thai was very underwhelming in taste, relatively dry & lacked the tanginess you'd expect with a well made pad thai. The fried rice was blend. I had to redo the rice at home to be able to enjoy it.

I really wanted to like 98 Asian Bistro. When we walked in, the decor and ambiance were beautiful. We were seated right away and water was promptly served. As we ordered an appetizer, our server suddenly turned around and walked away, not waiting if we were done ordering, which we were not. We ended up ordering chicken tom yum soup, larb chicken, and yellow curry. All of the food was bland and lacked flavor. I had to add a lot of lime and spices from the spice tray to get the flavors closer to the authentic Thai flavors I’m used to. Needless to say, I do not recommend 98 Asian Bistro and we will not be back.

We love 98 Asian Bistro, and get takeout from them nearly every furniture market. The food is really good. Tonight, we ordered two takeout dishes, but asked to not use bean sprouts because of an allergy. When we got home, it had the bean sprouts. I called them. They asked if we could come back, and they would remake both dishes for us in 15 minutes. When I got there, they even gave us a gift card. Wow! Their food is delicious, but their service is outstanding! We strongly recommend.

98 Asian Bistro is a great spot to get delicious Asian food. The lettuce wraps are fresh and crispy while the chicken is flavorful. The entrees come with either a crispy roll or soft roll, which is unique. My wife and I enjoyed the freshness of the soft rolls, and the dipping sauce for them is good. The chicken pad Thai was very good. I added some hot chili oil to amp up the spiciness, which is one of four items available on the spice tray. And to finish off the meal, we greatly enjoyed the coconut ice cream which was rich and creamy and sweet—a perfect end to the meal. The wait staff were friendly and efficient. The atmosphere is very traditional and also soothing. We will definitely be back!

Big menu and large amount of seating. I just moved back to the states and remembered that food modifications are quite common here.
I had a few questions about their Thai soups. As a vegetarian, I’m always careful about soups because of the broth. I was assured the Tom Kha was made ONLY with coconut milk (and most likely water) even though traditionally it is mixed with chicken broth. Server did her best to accommodate so I appreciated that.
Tom Kha was served with rice and tofu fresh rolls for their lunch portion. It was good. I also tried the fried tofu appetizer and it was alright. My dad liked it as a tofu hater. I was glad food modifications were accepted here.
I won’t be coming back here often but I appreciate the staff for their efforts.

I just came back from a conference in Wilmington and wanted to get a little Asian food. This place is near a house I rent so decided to stop in (full disclosure I've picked up to-go food here once). I wanted to have a drink and wind down. This time I ordered the chicken satay and DUCK BASIL! On this day I tasted the best duck dish I've ever had the pleasure of crossing my lips, and I've had duck from France to Germany and this is still the best. The food was well seasoned and beautifully presented. The bartender was not stingy with the pours either. I encourage any and everyone to stop in for a great dinning experience, you will not be disappointed, I will definitely make an effort to be a regular here, I'm super pleased. My bartender/server Tiffany (I sat at the bar) was absolutely awesome and attentive even though she had a few customers at the bar. She was the one that suggested the spice rack (pictured), and that was an adventure!!! As stated before, you will not be disappointed. Check it out!
