In an ocean of pork BBQ, this island of beefy goodness is a little piece of paradise! The brisket is so tender, so perfectly smoked, that a plastic fork is all you need to cut it. The fries are fried to order and so are perfectly crisp. The biscuits are slightly crisp on top, but soft and fluffy in the middle. The underdog in all of it, is the smoked turkey. Had the country roads platter. On paper it doesn't sound like it would work. But it os EXCELLENT. I am a bit of a Texas brisket snob, but this is as good as anything you will find in the lone star republic. Highly recommended

My wife and I tried the place for the first time last night. The brisket and the smoked turkey were SPECTACULAR! The bark on the brisket was seasoned to perfection (hopefully, they'll add burnt ends to their menu sooner than later). I hope to get back there soon and try the chicken wings. I hear that they are really good as well. So, if you like brisket and you're on the fence about smoked turkey, this place will change your life (hahaha). Highly recommended!
