Excited to try this little cafe, based on their 4.7 star reviews and clean sanitation score. I was terribly disappointed. I ordered a Cuban sandwich. I’m very familiar with these, and the description fit the part. It stated there would be ham, pulled pork, Swiss cheese, spicey mustard, and pickles, on a baguette. I was served an ice cold honey ham sandwich on a soft hotdog bun hoagie. I opened my sandwich to check out what was inside, because all I tasted was soft white bread and honey ham. There were no pickles, one tiny shred of pork and melted cheese. When the waitress came to check in, I explained that I was expecting a warm sandwich and the cold, shaved honey ham lunch meat, was not what I anticipated on a soft hotdog bun. I explained it did not at all taste like a Cuban. She asked if there was another sandwhich I may want instead. I asked for the menu. A woman came out with very short grey hair and said, “Just to inform you there are no hot sandwiches, except blah, blah, blah.” I thanked her for the information and I was expecting her to apologize for being out of baguettes and not explaining that, or offer some explanation for the cold honey ham sandwich I was served. She then proceeded to say, “All we do is stick the sandwich in the oven to melt the cheese, not to warm it up. The Cuban is a pressed sandwich.” I said, “I know, my sandwich was not pressed, either, nor on a baguette.” She said, “Yes it was we smoosh it with a spatula after we make it, I don’t own a panini press, that is a baguette, it’s just cut.” I don’t understand the concept of offering a sandwich like a “Cuban” and changing it so much that it is not that. I do love to try different cafes and delis take on classic sandwiches, but after the encounter from that very rude woman, I’m more shocked and disappointed by her attitude and rudeness, than I am that they advertised and described one sandwich and sent out something different. Terrible customer service, very over priced for the quality, and a missed opportunity to have a great little cafe in a college town.

this spot is a tiny jewel hidden away in high point and if you haven't experienced it yet, this is your sign. the food is **chefs kiss** and the staff is amazing.

my favorites and must haves: large la casa with grilled chicken (basil pesto vinaigrette is DIVINE and don't be spooked by the raw zucchini noodles, it's literally the best part), fried zucchini and the brielicious sammich!

not kidding you guys, you won't be disappointed - run, don't walk!

If you like a personal atmosphere, this is a place for you! The owner/operator talks to every person at every table. He even teases the customers! Service is great. Food is varied and very good! I'd recommend the fried zucchini as an appetizer. The seating is limited. If you come at lunch, be prepared to wait. The men's restroom gets a rating of grade C. It's relatively clean, but old. Sticky floor. Otherwise, a good experience all the way around. I'll be back!

Blue Zucchini is a nice little restaurant off the highway that boasts some amazing food. I got the Club Sandwich, which was superb, just as a club sandwich should be. I also got a Chocolate Chess Pie, which was quite quality as well. The inside of the restaurant has some interesting decor. Every employee we interacted with was very pleasant to talk to and even helped me identify a song playing in the restaurant that I did not recognize. Our group of three received our takeout order in a very timely manner. The food was a bit on the expensive side, with the cost being about $16 per person, though the proportions that we received were large enough to validate the cost. Overall, this place was an incredible find, which I will hopefully return to if again in High Point.

Parking: There is a relatively small parking lot in the front of the restaurant.
