Red velvet was okay, theres a cream cheese filling that was just too much for me. Loved the brookies! Truly worth their price as they are big size and thick.

I cannot tell you enough great things about Cara’s Cookies. I literally found them by searching royal icing cookies in Google Maps. They popped up, had great ratings, they were so easy to work with, less expensive (than several other places I heard back from over a week after I contacted them), open to my ideas, so easy and fast at communicating. I cannot give them enough credit for their business aspect. And the cookies- they were absolutely perfect, more than I could have asked for! Everyone loved them! They were so spot on and tastes amazing!!! I picked up different cookies to try while I was in there picking up cookies for my party- they were all amazing. If Santa tried these cookies- kids would be in trouble across the world because he wouldn’t want any other cookie after eating Cara’s Cookies. I wanted a cookie cake for my birthday recently and didn’t plan early enough to order one to be fair. My mom called and they still made it happen and it was exactly what I wanted, I could not ask for anything better. Red velvet heaven! My parents thought I knew their courageous and difficult journey in life, the purpose for their business. I had no idea until my parents relayed the story- I cannot even fathom the strength to get through a season of life like that, but then, courageously honoring her everyday by starting a company for her memory. It may just be a cookie place- but finding a local business with flawless business side, so easy to work with, beyond delicious, perfect cookies, genuinely nice and good hearted business owners is beyond rare. This gem is a real diamond!

I’ve ordered 2 chocolate chip cookie cakes from here and they are absolutely amazing. I would say they taste like gourmet cakes. I wish I could figure out how to post pictures of them because the artwork on the icing is incredible. I also got a white chocolate mocha coffee on New Years Eve morning when I picked up my cake and it was one of the best coffees I’ve had. I’ve found my favorite cookie cake place!

Absolutely loved the cookies we picked up today! Coconut Macaron, Peanut Butter, & Oatmeal Chocolate Chip were delicious!

They have some of the best delicious cookies and more the drinks, the espresso, the coffee everything is so tasty and warm And the delight to the soul. You gotta go check them out.

What a great place! Among many other hobbies my wife and I have, we like to visit small independent bakeries across North Carolina, and we are both in agreement that Cara's has some of the best cookies we have ever put in our mouth. Not only that, but the owner Tom personally stepped in and helped me with an order this morning when he could just as easily told me I was out of luck or not even responded to my message in the first place. Combining an excellent product with genuine good old fashioned service is a sure recipe for success, and these folks have it in spades in my opinion.

So out of all the cookie possibilities you can choose, I’d strongly vouch that this is the best. The cookies are basically double the thickness you usually find elsewhere and are soft to the bite. This was my first trip and it won’t be my last. Bonus that the staff was friendly and helpful.
