We go to this restaurant often and have never ever been disappointed. The food is always great and the service excellent. On our last visit, my wife and I shared their fabulous chopped salad. Then she had lamb and I had salmon. Both were extremely well prepared. Can't say enough good things about this restaurant. You will not be disappointed.

We had a wonderful experience with Karen. She delivered a phenomenal service overall. Food was great, atmosphere was awesome, the whole restaurant is clean and organized. I would highly recommend Karen, you’ll have fun! 😄

Chophouse is the best kept secret in High Point. I don't want to say too much. The food is outstanding. The service is wonderful. The cost is very reasonable for a high-end restaurant.

Our dining experience at the Chop house was first class .Our waitress Karen was excellent in every way possible. Karen was professional, warm and friendly and right on time with delivering our food and refills. We frequently dine out and appreciate good service and Karen went beyond the call of duty to ensure our complete satisfaction. Bravo !

My husband and I celebrated our 1 year anniversary here. Neither of us had been there before. Shante was incredible from the beginning and very attentive! The food.... Can't even describe the perfection! We got the spinach dip, a NY strip and the cowboy ribeye! Cooked to perfection, presentation was beautiful! Well worth the splurge for a 5 star meal!

We ordered 2 mix drinks and a tea. I understand having to wait in thr mixed drinks but waitress came back to take appetizer order still no iced tea. Brought mixed drinks " I'll be back with the sweet tea." Brought thr tra then appetizers, then salads. We piled some dishes up while others were still jn folding of us. The server walked by and stated she would clear the diahes in a minute. A few minutes later another server brought a large tray and set it on stand. Started to pass out thr entrees when my husband stopped her and said we need thr dirty dishes off the table first. There wasnt enough room to put the entrees on table. Clearing dishes away is a must for good service and isnstandard atnany level of dining. I had the Chilean sea bass and my food was delicious. My husband and daughter jn law got thr filets ordered at MR and was cooked perfect but was mediocre. Very bland. My son ordered thr dry aged Ribeye. It wasnt tender landlocked flavor. So he ordered a filet to replace it. His filet was delicious and tender. Everyone at the 5able tried it and do not understand why his filetbcooked MR was so much better than the other 2. We were celebrating my birthday and without asking they brought an awesome layered chocolate cake eith coffee flavored ice-cream. It was enough for alln4 onus and I really appreciated it!

I had a very disappointing lunch experience today, 10/30/25. Ordered the Prime Rib Sandwich (open face). The bottom of the bread was burnt jet BLACK. I complained gently to the server, showed her and said it tasted bad. I’d eaten 2/3 of the meat but left the burnt bread. She was shocked, understanding & apologetic. Yet, I was charged full price for the meal. I paid it including a 20% tip but let her know that I was surprised to be charged full price. She said she’d spoken to the manager about the issue to no avail. (Bad call, my man. Your kitchen served burnt food so you should have made it right.) Since I had no one ‘higher up in rank’ to speak to I decided to write this review. I’ve been a fan of this Chop House for decades but my experience today left a black mark on their reputation.

The chef cannot cook salmon to “medium” to save his life. I sent my plate back with the salmon & mashed potatoes, and the replacement salmon was as brought back to me on a side dish plate. Really?? I had to ask for my mashed potatoes AND then a larger plate to spread it all out on. No concession was made on the check. Not to mention, the replacement salmon still wasn’t cooked medium—it was cooked medium+ to medium well. Better than the first time, so I just ate it because I didn’t want to wait another 10-15 minutes for my replacement salmon again. On the way out, I saw the sanitation score was only 96.0 which was surprising. Not the experience I expected for an $80 dinner for just myself (including two drinks).

We had the sweetest, best server ever. I will try to find my receipt so I can edit this review with her name however it took forever to get our food. It was not her fault. We will be back when we have a lot of time.
