Terrible place to spend hard earned money as well as valuable time. The owner clearly doesn’t know how to run a business. I just wish I could forget the putrid smell of the place.
So, this is a nice restaurant, the food was good overall!
0 service, we ordered an appetizer that never came to the table, we ordered 1 soup they brought 1 that we didn't order. They didn't bring silverware. Never asked for a refill on the drinks. We had to go inside to ask for the desserts menu ! Very BAD service!

WARNING ‼️ I visited this establishment on St. Patrick’s Day and it was my first time. I knew racism still existed but wasn’t expecting it from a well established restaurant in my own city. The patrons were great. I had good conversations and was enjoying myself. I had sat at the bar and waited for my food for 45 minutes patiently because I understood it was a crowd. When my food came out it was cold and the 1st waitress said she wanted to reorder because they left it sitting out. When the next order came I asked another waitress for silverware so I could apply my mayo and she snatched my food and walked off. When she brung it back it looked like the they slapped it with a ton of mayo pictured below. I asked for my money back in a polite manner and the waitress walked off. A few minutes later a group of security officers walked up and one of them asked me and everyone standing near me to leave. I asked him what did I do and he said the waitress felt threatened. I explained I never spoke out of tone to her as other patrons stated the same thing to him. I also asked why do they have to leave and they are not even with me other than we were all black so you assumed we were together. He then began to speak to the young black lady with disgust because she asked why was he putting them out for no reason. I really felt bad because everyone was totally innocent. When the manager came I asked him for my money and he said he could only fix the food over for the 3rd time. At this point I asked again can I just get my money and leave your establishment and then the aggressive security officer made all the blacks in my area go outside. He then told me he would bring my food to me in the parking lot. This is one of those situations that could have went so bad if I wasn’t more interested in my lifestyle and job. I’m 54 years old and never looking for trouble but that waitress and security guard made a bad decision and their true intentions were exposed! He spoke to us like we were in the 1800’s. Those are the type of attitudes that will cause chaos and division. I’m always a class act but for a quick second I almost matched his energy but I thank GOD for his guidance. Now I know why I have never visited or ate in this restaurant and I have lived in this city for 54 years!!!

We have been here several times and have never been disappointed. Always great service and great food. The only problem i have with this place (and it's a HUGE problem) is deciding on what to order from the menu. There are at least 5 items I spend time deciding on...

The Fish & Chips were outstanding. The O’Sullivan’s Irish Hash not so much; both the Corn Beef and the red wine demi glaze were very bland leaving the dish to be carried by garlic mash. The menu has been revised since our last visit and had a lot to choose from. The Jalapeño Sweet Potato Hush Puppies were a delicious appetizer selection. Very few customers there so the staff was limited. Service was a bit spotty but food was brought out hot and ready to eat. No offer of coffee or dessert after main course was completed.

Very expensive for the food to be so blah. The salmon was overcooked and the mashed potatoes and shepherds pie were bland. O'Callahans in Mocksville is the place to go for Irish cuisine.

For some reason I thought I would enjoy my food this time ordering here. I ordered once before and it was not good, but I thought maybe I'd try again. I ordered the beef and cabbage. The amount of beef they gave me I couldn't have even made a sandwich with it. Although it was a very small amount, I found it to be tender and seasoned enough. A good amount of it was fat though. The potatoes were unseasoned and I received a huge chunk of unseasoned cabbage floating in some cabbage water. I can't believe I just wasted $20 getting this delivered to me.
My fiance and I were looking for a new brunch spot and Im glad we went and tried Claddagh!
Prices were reasonable. I really wish they did any sort of "a la carte" options because I wasn't super hungry and could've just eaten something super small, but to be fair I didn't ask so maybe that is an option that isn't on the menu. Fiance got chicken and waffles and enjoyed it, said the waffle was a bit dry but that didn't stop him from cleaning his plate. I got an omelette, which I wouldn't get again. Needed a lot of seasoning and was also dry but the home fries are delicious! Some of the best that I've ever had to be honest.
The manager of the place was extremely kind and I could hear him making an effort to really get to know his guests and make sure they were having a good experience. Our service was a little strange, there were two servers and one would come directly after the other and for a bit we didn't know that they were splitting the table and kept awkwardly explaining that we had just given our food or drink order to the other server a minute before. Didn't affect the dining experience, but was a little confusing.
Neat environment if you're looking for something that is a casual pub setting, it was perfect for me. Their lunch/dinner menu looked amazing so I'll have to go back and try those options at some point. Also for anyone looking for beer, their on tap list was pretty extensive and had some good unique options.
Parking: I can imagine the parking area gets packed pretty quickly because it's quite small, but we didn't have an issue with it for Sunday brunch.
