Enjoyed Coast until it closed unexpectedly leaving us with over $100 in gift cards we had purchased. Their sister restaurant State Street will not honor them. Please advise if anyone has a contact or has reached a resolution for same problem. Thank you

Just saw the for sale sign on the building. COVID-19 no doubt had an impact, but their troubles began way before. You can't execute a 5-star restaurant with college staff and poor management. I couldn't wait for them to open when construction started, but gave them their three strikes. RIP.

What a beautiful place! I've tried to love this place but have yet to have an experience that matches the venue or the price point. I'm not a price shopper when it comes to restaurants as I enjoy great food and great service. At certain price points however there are food quality and service expectations that should align and Coast missed on three occasions with me. From cold food and missing menu items, to long wait times for food arriving to the table. For the sake of the community, I hope and want this place to succeed so hopefully they get it figured out.

We had a 6:45 reservation to celebrate a birthday on Tuesday so the wait was nothing. We arrived to a very clean facility. The waiter was very nice but not assertive. When we began to order drinks and food, it was then he chose to tell us they were out of things. The menu is limited as it is but as we ordered, he told us they were out of their signature drink and then out of the ribeye. Start out and tell us that before we look at the menu. The drink service from the bar was extremely slow. The food was excellent. The grilled chicken had a very smoky glaze on it which made it awesome. My wife said the shrimp and grits were very good. We would come back for a special occasion not a regular place.

Outstanding dinner! A beautiful evening on the rooftop with my bride! Our waitress Amanda was incredibly attentive and provided us a pleasurable evening. And the Blackberry Breeze is a perfect light and refreshing beverage for a summer evening ?

Fabulous dining experience tonight! Ate dinner on the Rooftop. Waitress was attentive without being in the way. I love the seafood dishes and tonight the Seafood Tasso Pasta was delectable! Full service bar. So glad Coast is part of our High Point restaurant community!!
The atmosphere was delightful and loved the live music but the food was not as exciting, good but just ordinary fare, and for the price I was hoping for more

Absolutely delicious food and great ambiance. Very friendly staff. Ate there for lunch and had the she crab soup which was loaded with crab meat. The Grouper sandwich was grilled perfectly. Shrimp salad was wonderful! Definitely recommend

Wonderful food and great atmosphere. It wasn't Charleston but it was close! Have been 3 times now with consistently good food. Even the non seafood dishes were excellent. Went on a Friday with live music- perfect for date night! Our waiter, Justice, was attentive and had remembered us from a previous visit over a month ago. That is quality service.

The food was great and the staff was great and friendly the place was nice and easy to find plus the food was really good. The only problem that we saw was that it was a little loud at the restaurant

Visited this restaurant several times including the 2nd week it opened. It was very very good...at first. Staff, food and management seems so invested in this place. Yesterday's visit was concerning. My first concern was that time of day on a weekend and the place had only 4-5 tables occupied including us. The waited was nice but that is the only compliment I can give. No personality and he couldn't remember anything. We had to ask for several things several times. One condiment was requested 3 times before he finally remember to bring it to the table. One meal had to be sent back. Part of one entree was left off the plate and when we called it to the servers attention he went in the kitchen and eventually came back with the topping that was supposed to be on the dish and it was dry, over-cooked and semi burnt. I long for the original Coast and if standards don't return - neither will we.
