Dimly lit and lackluster customer service. The ice cream is great but the whole experience was poor. New management and a bit of a facelift would work wonders.

They hardly have any cakes and when asked what kind of cakes they have they replied that they don't know what's in them. Yikes

We stopped coming to this location due to how many times they would get an order wrong when we did online ordering. We decided to try it again and 3 out of 4 ice creams were wrong. I called and asked to speak to the manager so i didn’t have to repeat my self, was told the manager wasn’t in so half way thru me telling a worker what was going on, a woman answered. I asked if she was the manager and she replied yes and that the person who answered the phone was an idiot. She wanted me to bring the ice cream back before she thought about giving me a 50% refund. I told her you will be closed by the time I got back and she said hold it until tomorrow in which I replied what sense does that make. Apparently she didn’t like my response and called me ignorant. I said I’m sorry but it’s not hard to read an order and make it especially when 3 out of 4 was wrong. She said that she doesn’t need my buisness then hung up the phone. Everyone has an opinion but mine is that this place needs to be under new management or be retrained.

Terrible experience at the Cold Stone at John Gordan Lane. The employee(young woman,dark hair) touched my ice cream with the palm of her hand while putting the lid on—completely unsanitary. When I asked her to remake it, she did—but gave me less ice cream than I originally ordered. I was the only customer there, so there was absolutely no excuse for the carelessness or poor attitude. I won’t be returning.

I came in today and the staff was super helpful and efficient with how they worked. Specifically, pranav, haliot, and mariama were beyond excited to explain the flavor because this was actually my first time. There was also a new employee that they were training who made my ice cream. It was so tasty!!!!! Definitely going to come back to this location.

The customer service was absolutely awesome 👍 I even tried a new flavor of ice cream 😁. The manager just so happened to be there. I informed him of the great customer service and patience given to this USAF DAV. Thanks much again for making My day wonderful. I don't know the person's name.

Was not impressed by this location. Didn’t even get what we asked for and then when we asked the excuse was given “well we are too busy” and we were rushed to pay for whatever we already had. Not impressed by the service!!!

Horrible. The lady wasn’t using gloves, and she gave us something we didn’t ask for. I was looking forward to it but ended up highly disappointed and didn’t even finish it

The youg lady working Friday night 4/4 was amazing. It was super busy and she maintained her composure and smiled at each customer. She earned all the tips this night. I hope she didnt have to share them. She worked very hard. Her co-worker was another story. He was focused on making waffle cones and burning most. He was not helping at all.

Avoid ordering online! Horrible experience this past weekend. Ordered a birthday cake 5 days in advance, only to show up to pickup the cake and it was not there nor available. When I asked the employee(Pranav) what happened, he said he wasn't sure and he couldn't find the order. When I asked him to check the system again, he said he checked the back and it wasn't there. He did call another store to see if they had the type of cake, but they did not. When I asked for a manager, he said they did not have one and that he did not have access to the schedule. When I asked if he could make the cake, he said he could not. When I then asked how they could make this right, he said he didn't know. So, no cake and no resolution!
I did receive a voicemail from the "manager", but every time I try to call him back it does not ring and goes to a full VM. Avoid ordering any special types of cakes online as this location does not know how to fulfill the order!

I am a huge fan of Cold Stone, but they are not all created equal. The ingredients are the same, and the locations may be set up similarly. However, it is the employees that truly make the difference.

Haliot definitely made a HUGE impact on our experience tonight! He was attentive and accommodating to our requests. Haliot was efficient in his process while providing a top notch product. I am always disappointed when my ingredients feel half mixed but tonight’s was absolutely PERFECT!!!

Haliot… if you see this (I hope you do) thank you so much for being the difference!
