I can't say enough about how nice and welcoming the employees were the night of 3/30/24. The food was excellent and the service matched that quality. Thank you very much for the pleasant

Today's experience really made me rethink this restaurant. First off I've been coming here since this restaurant first opened a very long time ago and always enjoyed the food especially the tenderloin biscuit.. To the tall white guy in a baseball cap you are nasty to be pulling your phone out of your pocket and sending text messages with your gloves on and then go right back to preparing food without changing your gloves that is nasty.. that cross contaminates germs into people's food which is disgusting.. Luckily for me the short Mexican looking guy made my food.. I'll be taking a break from this restaurant because of this experience this morning..

Got a grilled chicken salad didn’t give me any dressing. My friend got a burger with no tomato. They put tomato on it and his fries were extremely undercooked. Idk why this place was packed for extremely low quality food.

This is one of my go-to places for lunch. This is just goooood NC BBQ. I typically go through the drive-thru, because I usually can zip through without waiting too long. The staff always has their warm Southern hospitality ready to take your order. Their menu isn't too overwhelming, it has your standard BBQ dishes/meals. There is a choice of ribs, chicken and even hot dogs. Boy, do I like their all the way hot dogs. They have a nice selection of sides. The BBQ plate has a lot of food. So come with an appetite. It has a nice helping of BBQ, loads of fries and hush puppies. They also have their tasty BBQ slaw. Their vinegar based slaw is Dee-li-cious. Don't forget to ask for a side of extra BBQ sauce. Now I like my fries softer with a little crunch. So their fries are so good to me. The savory BBQ is seasoned just right. Sprinkle a dab of their BBQ sauce on top and you have the right pairing. They have daily specials so checked those out before you order.

I got the 1/2 chicken dinner meal with Mac N’ Cheese & sweet potatoes. The chicken was dry and wasn’t seasoned AT ALL. Not a lick of salt and pepper - just bland. I was shocked that the meat didn’t have any seasoning/flavor especially since this is supposed to be a “BBQ Spot”. The Mac was more edible than the chicken but it wasn’t like it was the best I’ve ever had. It wasn’t dry so that’s a plus. The sweet potatoes were my favorite. I was a bit surprised that they were mashed, but the flavor was just right. They weren’t too sweet. I may go back to try something else but knowing that the main star of the show (the meat) has no flavor and doesn’t even look like they actually grill their food, I’m better off grilling my own BBQ. This isn’t a true BBQ restaurant. I even tried the peach cobbler which had no sweetness to it. It tasted as if they just made crust and put a can of peaches with it and called it a day. No hint of cinnamon, sugar, nutmeg, NOTHING. In my opinion, the food just wasn’t made with love. I could tell that the cooks/bakers are just throwing things together and just trying to get it done.

Chicken was really dry, hush puppies were really good though and the slaw was heavy on vinegar .

First time I'd been here in many years, so it was like new to me. Upon entry, there is nothing to tell me what to do or where to go or how to order. The menu was a little complicated & we ended up not getting what we wanted. The ham on my ham biscuit was super salty & the biscuit was not baked well enough, very doughy. I ended up spooning out all the middle of the biscuit and just eating the crust . My wife thought she was ordering a plate and ended up getting a super sized bacon & egg biscuit. I think she gave most of that to the kids.

Excellent Breakfast. Biscuits were awesome. The staff was super as well.I came in for breakfast while traveling and I decided I’d try this place out. Came in, ordered my food, and it was out in not too long a time. Coffee was decent, the biscuits were marvelous. I put some Barbeque sauce on my hashbrowns and boy do I need to try that again. So good. I even asked if I could get the coffee iced and the staff was so amazing they even made it for me.I got a tenderloin biscuit and I’m sure you would love chicken tenders in a biscuit.I will definitely be back.

5 stars for the tenderloin biscuit with some of their delicious house made "hot sauce" and a solid 4 for everything else, but in my book if you have a bona-fide "best in class" item on your menu, you get credit for the FIVE every time! Country Barbeque on 68 in High Point is just a roomier version of the classic spot across from Costco on Wendover. Serving up the same menu, and thankfully for everyone, the same delicious pork tenderloin biscuit in the mornings. While I prefer another place in High Point for every other kind of biscuit on earth (IYKYK) I will always concede the tenderloin biscuit in particular is just incredible here. If you really want a filling start to your day, have them add egg and cheese to it, as I have done in my pics here. I also recommend their hash browns when available. They give you a huge amount of them, and they far exceed the french fries. This is also a good spot for me for some hot dogs (they do offer white slaw as well as the red), and in my opinion, they have some of the best Lexington style BBQ in Guilford county. The hushpuppies here are always good, but somehow the fries get rock hard very quickly, they don't even have to cool too much. No matter what you order, you definitely need to use their house hot sauce to dress it. It's the best. Thanks for making the best tenderloin ever CBBQ!
