This is a must try if you haven't been yet.I really had an amazing time here tonight. It was a very chilled laid-back lounge the staff was very nice and welcoming to i will definitely be going back .
My husband and I had a date night here last Friday for their Love Jones Friday event. The owner Jahmed was so sweet and very accommodating. She really made the audience feel comfortable. I loved all the poets and will definitely be back.

Bridget, the owner, is amazing! It was my and my daughter’s first time a week ago. I felt welcomed from the time we walked in until we left. The crowd is encouraging and supportive. The vibes are CHILL. If you haven’t been out yet, what are you waiting for!! It was great to relax and listen to people share their work and the work of others in this format.

Very welcoming and chill vibes. My partner and I attended the open mic night and shared poetry with everyone for the first time. Everyone was very welcoming and made the atmosphere comfortable and fun.

First time going to a poetry event and let me just say …… this place here! Definitely great atmosphere & a GREAT VIBE !! I will definitely be back! My girlfriend, bestfriend , & I enjoyed our first night there! The owners definitely made us feel very welcomed! Thank you for a great night. ?

My wife and I visited Demhaj this evening out of curiosity. We were warmly welcomed by the owner Bridgette Williams and another young lady named Beverly. The interior is warm, cozy and inviting. We had a cup of green tea while a DJ played music gearing up for Karaoke. We were treated like family and felt like we were among friends. We will definitely return. Maybe even on Thursday for open mic poetry.
Great place to vibe and do poetry the owner is amazing and one thing she will tell you I’m going to pray for you and put a smile on your face.
