Staff is very friendly the food is amazing I got the quesabirria pizza (and im in love) and my husband got a torda de carne asada. I loved that I was able to order online before going to pick up my food very convenient. I would highly recommend this place to anyone wanting some yummy Mexican food.

There’s always inconsistency from one day to another. I get the Birria tacos each time and one time I got them they were so crispy and perfect. The next 2 times the were soggy and not so appetizing. The Birria meat is always seasoned perfectly though

I ordered Tacos de birria extra consome. I did not get ANY consomme. In other words I paid for tacos de birria and got tacos. Never had this problem before...but you messed up this time.
TLDR; this right here, this is my new taco spot!! Normally, I would never DoorDash street tacos, but it was necessary tonight, which was also our first time eating El Pariente. I cannot tell you guys how good this stuff is. Yea it's just simple carne asada tacos, but a 4 pack for 9 bucks is insane in 2024 and they are not wimpy, tiny tacos either. Sauces were great too, the red is extremely hot haha, I LOVE IT! Jalapeño on the side was perfect too and completely unexpected.

Everyone who knows me knows how obsessed I am with barbacoa and birria. This place did NOT disappoint. You can tell they take pride in their creations. The little hole-in-the-wall joints will always surpass in flavor, the flashy exterior of the more expensive, bland & basic dining experiences. Let's keep the family owned and small operations in the spotlight. El Periente Taqueria you're now my new favorite of the high point area.

I ordered from this place using Door Dash. I ordered the Pizza Quesabirria. I’ve never had one and was excited to try it. It was really delicious! A bit on the thin side but so flavorful! It came with consumé and some red and green sauces.
I’ll definitely be trying some other items from this restaurant!
