Looked in yelp to find a local lunch spot while traveling on the highway. Such a surprise to fine this little gem. Loved the food. We both had the special, grilled chicken sandwich with fries. Everything was delicious. Surprised that the grilled chicken were prices instead of a chicken breast. It was so good. So easy to eat and so flavorful. The toasted roll was perfection! We will be back if traveling that way.

This is a old school carryout. You can eat in, but when you think of this place, think carryout. The food was the burgers and sandwiches we grew up eating. Crispy French fries. Nothing fancy. The service was fast and friendly. Every city has a great carryout. I think this is High Point's carryout.

Salads were great. Calling in your order might be better cause there will be a line when you get there especially during the afternoon rush. Have a variety of subs that are appealing. Worth the visit.

Unreal. I came in to have a meal here and had my U-Haul parked in the parking lot. The owner called uhaul to complain that it was there. When I called him after I left his restaurant (in the ushaul) to explain that I was there eating - he YELLED AT ME. What a terrible way to treat your customers and handle your business. Shame on you. I am in the area a lot and I will never be back.

Great local sandwich shop. Locally-owned and operated. A hidden downtown gem. Walkable to Congdon Yards and Truist Point stadium.

Is this place super nice? No. Is the food out of this world? No. HOWEVER, it is trusty and always good. I have been several times and I'm never disappointed. I don't like their fries, but I don't like crinkle fries at all.
