Ate here with friends for dinner. Hardly anyone in the place and the service was very slow. From the time we were seated until we got anything at all to eat was about 30mins. It was another 20mins before our cook came out to prepare the food. The food was extremely salty and it was very over cooked. The shrimp and chicken were very dry after the cook overcooked them. If this is the type of meal you are looking for, there are many more better options nearby. For 2 of us to eat, with no alcohol, it cost 60.00 not including the tip.

Fabulous food! Fantastic atmosphere, our hibachi server was MAGNIFICENT! His name was Tomy! They sang "happy birthday " to our HPU STUDENT , our 19 year old shy daughter; p in Japanese too! Very sweet and brought her banana cake with a lit candle. We would recommend this as a must try spot to dine!

This place is always good. The chef was very nice and he seems to be good with children! Very good! Just a very small thing was the sauce used to cook the food seem to drawn our plate.

Have been going here since I was a little kid. Yeah the building is a bit outdated but the food is amazing especially when compared to other Japanese steakhouses and what you get for what you pay. Highly recommend this location.

Lighting was a little dark for me and the building itself needs to update the plumbing and repair the ceiling in some places. The food was AWESOME though and the chef and waitress were great!Parking: No issues with parking whatsoever.Kid-friendliness: I think the restaurant has a kid friendly vibe but from personal experience, I think really young kids are scared of the fire.

Service was great. Food not so much. My salmon had a powder substance on it, figured it was frozen & went along with it since it was my daughter's birthday gathering. Had to ask cook to the clean the grill before cooking, it had food on it from an order before. Vegetables (zucchini & onion) were raw, had to ask cook to put my salmon back on the grill since he was moving so fast and only let it cook maybe a minute or so. Soy sauce was put on everything without asking! Our cook was literally at our section for 10 maybe 15 minutes tops! Meanwhile the table next to us, their cook was active when we sat at our section and took more time. He was even present AFTER our cook left. I also noticed my chair was sticky and also kept sliding I'm assuming bc of the type of flooring, not comfortable at all. (We sat by the window.) Bathrooms were unclean. First time here, not worth 100 bucks, should have waited the hour for Fire & Sticks.

They no longer offer sushi, but you don't find out until you enter the restaurant. The food was mediocre at best. Maybe back in day it was a good restaurant, even the menus are very outdated. Left wanting to go somewhere and pick up something to eat...Save your money and go to US Sushi.....

u got one star now tonight u seat 15 people after my party came in and all 4 other parties came after us. guys I'll find somewhere else 9/18/20. Now 4 15 2023 tonight I feel like I'm in the twilight zone. Don't be in a hurry I think they gone ask for us to make the bank deposit on the way out. Here we are tonight 11/28/23 8 people sit at one table ,3 different groups. 5 of the 8 I think are 6 ft plus 225 lbs plus. They might as well sit on each other's lap. Definitely not enough room. Only 6 should be at this table when almost every meals 30 plus. Let them have room to enjoy there meal. Jesus wanna know why arigatos is packed every day. Not because the food is better than here is the atmosphere. On top of that it's 59 degrees in this building and 39 outside .

The food is always outstanding, and you will have a ton of leftovers! We love the filet, red snapper, and their jumbo shrimp dinners. The interior is dated which is why the atmosphere only gets 3 stars. However, the food makes up for it.
