3/03/2026 was my first visit. I ordered three meat patties; two beef patties, one curry chicken patty, and one jerk chicken patty. Additionally, each was individually placed inside coco bread. The flavor of the items were exceptionally good, but there was blatant false advertising! The portion amount did NOT AT ALL match the photos, which is how most consumers make their menu selections. The meat content was enough to fill a cavity…. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING, especially after spending $40….

My sister and I stopped there to pick up some dinner following a HPU basketball game. We planned to get the oxtail dinner but they had run out and it was getting near closing time so they were not going to prepare more. However, we ordered the beef shanks dinner instead. It included peas & rice, cabbage and plantains. It was delicious and they were generous with the beef shank. I've been to Jamaica so I know how it is suppose to taste, The food was authentic. I highly recommend them.

My husband saw this place on TikTok so here I go again trying another Jamaican restaurant. First thing when u walk in no smell that’s a definite 🤦🏽♀️. If ur a Jamaican you get it. Anyway decided to try it anyway because I was already there. My husband ordered curry chicken. I got this combination or oxtail and curry goat. I also got a beef patty and coco bread. Coco bread was spot on, hot and soft. Let’s get to the food. Presentation was spot on. I would say for what I paid for that combo wasn’t worth the price. For the food it’s just ok. Something tastes like they put sugar in it cause the gravy was sweet. Oxtail was a little salty. My husband curry chicken was dry and that’s probably because it was not cut up like curry chicken. If u know u know.

Was in town for a few days for work, stopped in for some take out one evening with a couple friends. That was one of the best meals I've ever had! Everything was absolutely delicious, I could have kissed the chef! The portions are great for the price as well and the employees are friendly and attentive. Let's just say I will 1000% be making a trip back just for their food!

The staff are really sweet, ordering was easy, and you get huge portions that are very well made. I would definitely recommend Island Fest. We had a great time!

The service is amazing, as soon as you walk in a great big smile greats you and the smell is amazing. The music is fantastic the atmosphere is amazing and chill. Ordered the curry goat and am in love, half way through the plate was full but couldn’t stop myself from indulging. The mango lemonade is also fantastic. 10/10 would recommend and definitely delicious! Going to come back

Oxtails used to be very good, but The last 2 times The meat was dry and salty. I want to support this restaurant but the food was not good at all. I dont know what happened to this place. I used to love them, but I won't be going again.

I so wanted to love this food but it was just ok s and the amount of food for the price is not equitable. There was surely not enough meat in the small curry goat, it seems like 1 serving spoon and the rest was rice and peas and over cooked cabbage. I will say that the goat didn’t taste bad though and it would be nice to have gravy on the meat as well. Serve like you are serving at home.
