This place has the best tacos in town IMHO. I've been here four times since I discovered it a month ago, three takeout orders and once in the restaurant. Every time the food was fresh, hot, delicious, and authentic. Having lived in Guadalajara, Mexico for five years, I have a good idea what a taco should taste like.

We love visiting authentic Mexican restaurants across the state. This was beyond disappointing. Service was beyond slow. Food came out at random increments and we had to ask when two in our party never received their food. Then we were told that they were out of chicken. One person switched theirs to another meat choice, but it seemed their plate of rice and beans had been sitting so long it was ice cold and they mentioned the taste of the beans was rancid and couldn't eat them. While the crispy tacos in the photo look good, there was an odd mustard sauce that ruined the entire plate.

I called in a order for a steak and shrimp burrito and I specified what I wanted. When I got there, I told the lady that the price was too low for what I ordered and I repeated my order to her. She charged me an additional $3 and my food still was wrong when I got it. I bought it back in to be fixed and what I got was some dried up steak and pork. The pico that I asked for on the side was old and it made me sick. I will going to be consulting an attorney if I have food poison because the food made me sick as hell. They do not believe in refunding for your money for something that they messed up and you can't eat.

Went this evening with a family of four. Chips and salsa was just OK. Took an extraordinary long time for food to come. Some was cold by the time it came out. They were out of several items on the menu. Barbacoa tacos were way over seasoned to the point of being inedible. Remaining food was average for "authentic Mexican". Bathrooms needed attention. Probably has some promise, but management and staffing was very poor.

I was excited to try out this restaurant but very disappointed. Although the staff was very nice, the food was not good. I got a chicken quesidilla and taco lunch special and it was not worth it. The rice was undercooked and the quesidilla and taco had no flavor, and the chicken was dry. The quesidilla also had cheddar cheese in it and not queso? Do not recommend for a good Mexican restaurant.
Best and most authentic taste of Mexican food in high point, maybe the triad. Definitely will be back to eat again.

Me and my family went yesterday (Aug 15th 2023) to mi Taquieria. Which I believe is now run by someone else. Now it’s call “mi k tracha” I believe… anyways, it took a legit hour to get my food. And the food was all wrong. My son ordered a chicken burrito and got steak. And my daughters tacos took a hour and 15 min to come out. When I got my food (me and wife ordered Tortas de asada) they smelt burnt, and sure enough they were SUPER burnt on the other side. And then proceeded to take another 20-30 min to bring out the corrected chicken burrito and the 2 tortas…
