So, it is a little hard to spot and it is on a one-way without a parking area, just (confusing) street parking, BUT! The food is great, the people are great, they have cake squares for $2.00 as well. You'll feel welcomed no matter who you are. It is just as cheap/expensive as all other places now with an average of $10 a meal, but my goodness is the service fast. You won't be in there any longer than 5 minutes if you are a to-go order. I highly recommend you check it out.Parking: There are available spots. About 5 at the front of the store and 8 across the street, but you have to pay attention because in between spots there are multiple spots marked with no parking.
I was standing in line waiting to get waited on two people walked in off the street and she took there order as if I was not standing there will not be that to eat there no time

Oscars is basically one of High Points National Treasures! They have been family operated and in business for over 60 years if my memory serves me right! When you walk in, you can see the captured moments in the local papers and guests who have dined in at Oscars. I love being able to see the original owners, photos on the wall because it genuinely shows a passion for bringing something to your community that people truly value. You will not find many out there like Oscars where you get a traditional home cooked meal & can pack it on with a nice fresh batch of cookies or cake for dessert. I typically go for the hamburgers on my visits with some of the delicious lemonade! They get really busy at about noon, so get there a bit early and sit down and feast. Oscars fattens the belly without breaking the bank too! Every person I've encountered on the staff have been wonderful & welcoming. It feels like you are among family when dining in. So great atmosphere & even better food!

If you’re in High Point you have got to give this place a try. No frills delicious food. Had a great sausage egg and cheese today on a bun. Highly recommend ordering a hash brown, adding it to the sandwich, hitting it with some ketchup, and washing it down with a coffee.

Got a burger and the bottom bun was hard, almost stale. The patty wasn’t seasoned and was dry, but decent food for the price. The breakfast sandwiches are extremely good though.
