We went to see The Dreamers they were amazing and the service provided by the bar staff was on point! Very friendly place, great stop. It was busy w furniture market but they didn’t miss a beat!

The Bar tenders were absolutely amazing. Friendly, great drinks, very on top of everything. However the manager woman manager was visibly intoxicated and acting like a teenage girl. A group of young men walked into the bar got a few drinks before last call. I don’t know what they did to make her so mad but she was standing at the opposite end of the bar yelling at them to get out then when she thought they were leaving she started pointing and laughing. Then the man with a mustache came over and tried to charge them a cover (as they were being kicked out) It seamed like they were making fun of them. SO bizarre. I asked the bar tenders to find out that these are the MANAGERS of the restaurant. Horrible choice of management if you ask me. Really sad because we had such a fun night there and the other staff was amazing.

We had booked a table for a wedding after party at the bar, and the bar originally stated we didn’t have to pay a cover. The first individuals who arrived weren’t aware of the arrangement and paid said cover. After the first individuals were made aware of the prior arrangements, two of the men went inside to request a refund or drink credit. The man at the front became extremely aggressive and kicked the individual in our party out of the bar. The rest of the party was in the back patio/parking lot because the live music inside was intolerable. The individual came around back to update his wife and the rest of the party about the situation. The man from the front, as well as a young woman who was filming the interaction, came out of the bar and threatened to call the police. The entire party left at that point and went to Fox and Rocks down the street and had a wonderful rest of the night! From the reaction of the regulars at Fox and Rocks, having a poor experience at Plank Street doesn’t seem to be a unique occurrence.

Our group came here after an event — our host even called ahead to reserve seats. Half our group was charged a $5 cover, while the others (who arrived 15 min later) weren’t charged at all. When I politely asked the man at the front (with the mustache) about a refund, he got defensive and threatened to charge the rest of our group “if that would make me happy.”
The bar was completely empty — we were their only business that night — yet he chose to argue instead of showing basic customer service.
We left and went two doors down to Fox & Rocks, where the staff was friendly and the vibe was great ($2 jello shots!).
This man needs to be reprimanded or fired. Zero business sense, poor attitude, and not someone who should be the first face guests see

This review was for night of Oct 11th.
Our group came here after an event, and our host even called ahead to confirm that the bar would reserve seats for us. When we arrived, half of our group was charged a $5 cover, while the other half — who showed up just 15 minutes later — weren’t charged anything.
When I politely asked the man at the front desk (the one with the mustache) if he could refund the cover charge since it clearly wasn’t being applied consistently, he became defensive and rude. Instead of trying to make things right, he threatened to charge the rest of our group “if that would make me happy.”
It was obvious he wasn’t the owner, because any reasonable business owner would’ve either refunded the small amount or at least offered a drink credit. To make it worse, the bar was completely empty — we were literally their only business that night.
We ended up leaving and taking our business two doors down to Fox & Rocks, which had a much better vibe, friendly staff, and even $2 jello shots.
To the man at the front: maybe next time, think about how your attitude affects the people actually trying to support your business. The $5 you refused to refund would’ve easily gone to drinks and tips if you hadn’t been so rude.
To the owner: this man needs to be reprimanded and have him take a customer service course online. He has zero business IQ and lashes out at customers when confronted. If you want your business to succeed, the first person guests see when they walk in should be calm, professional, and understand basic customer service.

Very inconsiderate establishment that does not follow the noise ordinance. Loud obnoxious music that you can hear clearly from a mile away at 12:15am.

Cool place. Early you can catch the older crowd. Later you can catch the college age crowd. Overall, it was a great place
30% gratuity is crazy and not told to you before ordering.
The Door guy is ultra cute, I go to this place to flirt with him. 10/10
Great place to grab a drink with friends. The pic is on Thursday with open mic night. It can be hit or miss on quality, but this was a good night. 4 star for atmosphere due to it being narrow and difficult to maneuver when crowded. No regular food, but they do sometimes have some.
