$40 for this order and no itemized receipt , strongly believe we got the wrong order, got more food than we ordered and curry chicken when we ordered potatoes and naan bread , it was NOT what we ordered . Never come back again to this establishment. Stay away .

A friend and I stopped in to try Salt & Pepper for dinner. The restaurant is very welcoming and the decorations were really pretty. We were greet and seated immediately by the friendly host. We ordered the Indian Special Biryani, the black pepper shrimp and chicken madras with some garlic naan. Everything was delicious! I would absolutely order all of the dishes again, but can't wait to try more menu items!

Great food and service. Just a PSA the restaurant keeps all tips! Which I thought unfair to waitstaff so if you plan on tipping I would hand it to the waitstaff directly.

I never leave reviews! This was an awesome experience. Amazing grateful and attentive staff. I had lamb vindaloo and butter chicken. Both superb.

We were very impressed by this gem! While passing through we ordered takeout. The location is impressive and the restaurant is amazing. Definitely will go next time for the complete experience!

This is an excellent restaurant to enjoy Indian cuisine. The food is awesome. The atmosphere is friendly and staff very willing to help w/ questions. The mango lassi is very good, too. My entree is very, very delicious. I love it.

Visited this smallish restaurant w a group of friends, one of which has been frequenting this establishment for quite some time and raves about the food. It is clean and has a minimalist atmosphere with a contemporary Indian design about the place. If you need space head to the back room, Lots of windows and space in the back room. Food was authentic and quite tasty. There were many choices on the menu and quite a few dishes l wasn't familiar with but if you ask the waiter they will happily explain what kind of ingredients are in any dish that you might inquire about. My choice was Butter Chicken and it was very flavorful! It comes w basmati rice and the dish is not too spicy, but they do ask how spicy would you like your dish. Mild is just that w just a small bit of heat to make each dish interesting but not uncomfortable to eat. Medium is plenty spicy l think and hot is woo! Prepare for an eye opener if you are a novice! They have lamb, chicken, and l think l saw goat on menu as well. There are many vegetarian dishes as well. Menu has a good variety to appeal to most folks. So if you are craving Indian food, as they say, come for curry in a hurry!

The food is ok. The problem is the service. The owner is not friendly, comes in without a smile and does not seem appreciative of our patronage. We are a party of 5, we order appetizers, fish and vegetable Pakora. The sauce is a little too hot for my friend, so she ask the owner for a little bit of yogurt to cool down the spice and the owner tells her she does not have any. So my friend stays there drinking water until she felt better. Nobody comes to refill our drinks and after 40 min of us watching the 3 tables that came after us receiving their dinner, we ask the owner where is our food. She rushes to the computer and 10 min later the food starts coming. And SURPRISINGLY some of the dishes have yogurt that she could've graciously brought at an earlier stage to relieve my friend. The food came scattered and they ended up forgetting my friend's rice side. At any moment anyone smiled and the impression that we got is that they were all miserable and did not want us there. I am sorry but there are other Indian restaurants and I am not coming back. WARNING If you scan the QR code on the table and expect a price be ready for a price increase for a higher amount when you receive your check.

During a trip to N. Carolina, my companions wanted to eat some Indian food. I was thrilled that they wanted to, and used Yelp to find the place. The name of the restaurant doesn't really relate with anything Desi in my opinion and the decor was not what I expected. The place was very clean though and had an open feel to it. We all opted for Thalies. Both non-veg and veg versions. It was a great way for them to have a little of everything. The Thali is quite high in price I thought. I was really surprised by the diversity of groups that were there eating! Really made me happy! One thing that was a disappointment was the non-veg Thali for 2, says it comes with shrimp which we did not get. I felt a bit bamboozled. They need to change the menu as it is misleading. I will say we really enjoyed the food so we came back a second time during the week. We ordered a couple of curries and some bread. Rice was already included. The first naan did not come out as fresh as the second. Overall it was very tasty and enjoyed the food.

I've been going to Salt and Pepper since they opened , at first was so glad to have awesome Indian option in High Point when I come for the market every six months. The service with a frown was forgivable , at first....but now , the service has gone waaay down. Ma is a real c u next Tuesday !!! The Mexican waitress was very nice and very professional! And the other Indian girl who has been there since the beginning smiles , but definitely is not glad to see us ! I will NOT be returning because of the poor attitude and many of the best things in the menu were unavailable, garlic naan , almost ALL the naans were not available and they brought us an appetizer we didn't order , but didn't offer to remove it from the bill. If you like pleasant service from folks who appreciate your business , you should skip Salt and Pepper -particularly since the food quality has gone down .

I pre ordered my food today at 1pm to be picked up at 615pm. It is now 715pm, and I still don't have my food. 1 hour late! Even after pre ordering my meal. Terrible service. And the business offered no apology. They acted rude. There are many other options out there people. Go elsewhere. After waiting an hour the food was marginal at best. Beware.

The last time I dined here I waited 45 minutes from the time I ordered my meal until it reached my table. The waitress was rude and the food was mediocre. I have no intention of eating here again.
