The garden salad is fresh and delicious. The sirloin was cooked to perfection and served with mashed potatoes and sautéed squash zucchini and tomatoes which were very tasty. We opted for the Chocolate Tuxedo Layered cake, excellent!!

The chicken with bacon and pimento cheese sandwich with some canned small pieces of melon was tasty, but made with a very small piece of chicken. I was also overcharged at $14.99 which I did not realize until exiting the restaurant. Also a friend’s fish sandwich again being small was nearly tasteless. Very disappointing as I had eaten at Sammy’s on multiple occasions before. I am wondering if Sammy Giannopolis (sp) has sold the venue. Essentially I felt I received a sandwich I can get elsewhere for about $5.00. I am afraid I will not be returning to Sammy G’s.

My husband and I enjoy eating here HOWEVER this last experience left a bad taste in our mouth and was out of character. We ordered HOT wings. They brought us hot honey. They recognized they had brought the wrong flavor. We asked them to correct it to BUFFALO hot wings. They took the wings back. They waited 5 minutes and then brought back the exact same wings (hot honey wings). We did not complain or ask for another correction. When the manager came around to “chat” we explained what happened and he didn’t acknowledge the problem or offer to fix it. He just went on to make more small talk. Off character for this establishment and odd that the manager chose to ignore our small complaint.

I selected this restaurant as part of an entrepreneurs fellowship for women. I’m sad to say that this restaurant let us down. The service was not great. The manager on duty was not pleasant. We felt rushed to exit the restaurant and we made reservations. People of diversity should not have to deal with such treatment and by diversity I mean women. Years ago this restaurant used to be filled with customers but now it’s empty and I understand why. I would never recommend this place and I’m not going back. Our waitress Charlotte was not attentive at all!!!!!!

Nice little atmosphere but the service was terrible and the food tasted like iHop. Therefore, this is basically a fancy IHOP. Our waitress was extremely flustered. In addition, they kept coming out with fries no one ordered. The chicken and waffles were nasty as well as the breakfast tacos. My Son ate his chicken tenders but my other son refused to eat the kids Alfredo. I tried a taste of it and I could understand why my 2 year old didn't want it. Extremely bland, even the shrimp I added to it was nasty.
Maybe we came on a bad day but my cousins also complained about how the food tasted and how our service was today. Yesterday was stressful with a huge wedding so today was supposed to be smooth sailing but it definitely wasn't. Won't be coming again and I can't honestly say if recommend this Place. Only positives I have is one of my cousins enjoyed the wings (I think she had hot honey wings) and my other cousin enjoyed his eggs (I think he got them with extra cheese). Cute place, just not for me

A couple of months ago my friend and I ate here for dinner. I didn't want to leave a review but since our visit, I can't stop thinking about how subpar the food was. We started with the Thin Cut Onion Rings—unfortunately overcooked. Both of us ordered the Ribeye plate. The Brussel sprouts (with onion bacon jam) lacked flavor, but the mashed potatoes were the best thing on the plate. The ribeye was the biggest letdown—cooked fine but very bland and under-seasoned. The vibe and our waitress were great, but if this was a typical night at Sammy G's, I probably won’t be back.

I loved this resturaunt so much! They were very attentive and our waiter, Jeffrey, made the experience perfect. The food was great, and was large portions. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice lunch or dinner outing.

We came to Sammy Gs for our daughters’ birthday. The food was excellent, but Jeffrey, our server made it even better. Fabulous experience all around! Highly recommend

Food was great. Server was very good as well but busy which lead him to be away for long periods. This is not a stand alone restaurant so that takes a little away from the atmosphere. Overall- still one of my favorite places in High Point to eat.
