If you don't eat the buffet, you can order off the menu. The salmon patties, meatloaf, and more are delicious. As with the buffets, the service is always wonderful, friendly, and very attentive. You won't have to wait to have drinks, iced tea, and coffee refilled. It's an overall pleasant dining experience.

The "About Spiros" text above is perfect. I've been to Spiros many times & have eaten the breakfast, lunch, & dinner buffets. The service is excellent, friendly, & always attentive. The food is diverse, fresh, hot, & delicious. Some of my personal favorites are the tuna, chicken, Greek, & potato salads; all the fresh vegetables; the interesting toppings including dried cranberries & golden raisins; the grilled salmon; the grouper; the creamed pork loins; the cooked cabbage; the greens; the mashed potatoes; the sweet-potato casserole; all the kinds of eggs, sausages, & gravies at breakfast; the fresh fruit; the radishes (never found on any other buffet); the crab cakes; the beef tips in gravy; and more. They're all delightful. Great food, great service, and a pleasant atmosphere all come together for a wonderful dining experience. No matter what you like to eat, you should find plenty to eat. I must eat gluten free, and I have no problems finding plenty of items to eat. The staff members are more than happy to check out any items to confirm that they match special dietary needs. Once you've eaten at Spiros, you'll want to go back.

If you go anytime outside peak time, expect low quality. They don't rotate out the near empty containers, they simply keep adding to the top. The remaining food on the bottom is still available for the next low point. The rolls are usually cold and dry, likely more precious peak time food. The tea is good, and the food is good when its fresh. Tina is great!!!

I love Spiros. I just ate there tonight with my 6 year old son, 9 yr old granddaughter, 3 and 7 yr old grandsons alone. Not only was our waitress so attentive and helpful with me being alone with the 4 kids, the kids and I loved the food tonight! My 7 year old grandson will barely ever finish even one plate of food at any time, tonight he finished almost two plates. He then asked, "next time we go out to eat can we come back here?" I asked all of them "would you guys pick McDonald's or Spiros to eat at?" They all said "Spiros, but we wish they had ice cream. Can we stop at McDonald's for ice cream?" :) I think our wonderful waitresses name was Katherine. But if management asks, she will remember us. I think we were her very last table tonight and got a Cheeseburger and fries to go for my husband who works second shift. He absolutely loves Spiros cheeseburgers! But our waitress definitely deserves a shout out from us and management!

Food is good 3 times I went but desserts leave something to be desired. Want more then fresh fruit, banana pudding, jello etc. How about some cakes and pies or a hot cobbler with ice cream? Maybe a chocolate cake or yellow cake, carrot cake, cheese cake, ete. What makes the salad bar stand out is the large peel and eat shrimp they have. That stuff is expensive. You never see that at any other salad bar. Not to mention the fresh ripe tomatoes, greek salad, and tuna and chicken salad and all the other fresh toppings like bacon bits, sunflower seeds, and dried cranberries etc.

Half the food on the buffet was very poor quality. The collards were so salty I could not eat them. We did enjoy the salmon and fried chicken. We had a waitress that appeared to be on something . This made us very uncomfortable. She was having a difficult time remembering anything and everything. She gave us a check at the table, then forgot to come back to get our money. When I got up and tracked her down, she didn’t remember that she had already given us the check and tried to print the check again. I hate to accuse, but she just looked and seemed very wasted. Also It wasn’t like the restaurant was super busy. There wasn’t very many people in there. We will not go back.

I recommended my visiting out of town relative for the Thanksgiving week to this restaurant today. As I had loved the food from a prior visit. Although my relative absolutely loved the variety and flavor of the food. She was highly disappointed with a comment from “Tammy” a cashier noting that she goes to a Black church and gets along with “Them.” This comment was unnecessary and highly inappropriate to a customer of any race to feel welcomed patronage. My relative stated she’ll never return when in town again and now neither will I.

My sister and I wanted some down to earth good old country cooking and we got it. Pintos were almost as good as Mommas, almost.
